Another funfact beside having 35 as middle value, its also most likely to roll something between 30 and 40 since these values have the highest probability’s ( or most possibilities to to get rolled compared to 10 or 60 where all dice have to be the same) with nearly ~70%. Therefore rolling many times below 30 is a sign of bad luck or a rigged game

However, you neglected the fact that the minimum roll for 10 dice is not 1, but 10. This means that you can only roll any number from 10-60, an effective range of 50. Half of that range is 25, so the minimum value plus 25 (or the maximum value minus 25), is the average value, being your original guess of 35. This also holds the pattern of 2 dice having an average roll of 7.
