i think it's possible to get a working version on the dolphin emulator, i cant remember. I saw a reddit post years ago someone had set up a server that hosted all the wii shop games that dolphin could connect to or something like that. It's sad, that music on the channel tile is so nostalgic haha

The Wii Shop Channel technically still exists, but to some extent. You can only download 2 pieces of software (and maybe some you already own). Yet the 3DS one is inaccessible.
