I have found that the regular shot is easier than the secret. Certain sites that recognize world records will disqualify your score if you use the cheat.

This game is all about repetitive motion. I aim the same and then use the same motion and speed on every shot. I sit in a recliner and flick my wrist. My "arm swing" is only inches long.

@@sprocket454 I sit in a recliner and hold the controller about stomach high. It is not flat and it is not sideways. My motion is 90% flicking my wrist in a lower left to upper right motion and my arm moves slightly accounting for the other 10%. My entire range of motion is only a foot long. Simpler is better. Aim exactly the same and throw exactly the same for all ten shots. I make a conscious effort to "spin" the ball because you want the ball going down the lane at high revolutions and not sliding.

@@dls69er that sounds very similar to my throw except I do have the controller sideways and my motion is slightly right to left. That may result in slightly more hook and slightly less consistency. I can throw 300 games to the point that it's boring but I can't get 890. Have you ever tried to bowl a 300,300 tie with one controller in your left hand and the other in your right hand?

@@sprocket454 my left to right motion also involves a right to left twist of the wrist. I have shot 300 with my right and left hands. Thinking about throwing ten strikes in 890 will probably throw off your concentration. I would just tell myself I would not quit until I throw 5 in a row twice. Once I do it twice (and fail) I quit until the next day. That is also how I have shot perfect games in Target Golf and Hitting the Green which are a lot more difficult than Power Throws.

How are you getting 890? My max is 510 and that’s after hitting all but 10 pins! Is there a multiplier for getting strikes?

There are 10 pins in the first rack and if you throw a strike the 10 is doubled and you receive a score of 20. On each successive rack they add an extra row of pins. There are 10 frames and the number of pins for each of the ten racks is as follows : 10,15,21,28,36,45,55,66,78, and 91. If you add up all the the 10 numbers you will get 445. Since the score for each frame is is doubled, if you throw all strikes that means that 2 x 445 or 890 is a perfect score.

You answered your own question. You have to throw fast and get something on it with a twisting motion and then throw it the same way 10 times in a row. If you don't give it enough twist it won't make it to the pocket and if you let up a little and throw it too slow it will break too much. I throw every ball exactly the same and aim exactly the same all 10 frames. You'll get a feel for the right speed.

Best way to make 890 is to bowl until you get at least the first five every day. Then quit for the day. You will have 7 chances a week to make the last 5. That's a lot easier than playing a 4 hour session. I achieved a perfect score in Target Golf using the same method.

I aim and throw the ball the exact same way.....whether there is 10 pins or 91 pins. Practice by bowling 300 in regular bowling. You want to develop a stroke and a consistent speed. Then go to Power Throws.

The secret to throwing a perfect game is to throw it with the same speed and spin on every shot. So what you need to practice is replicating the same motion over and over. Also, you aim the same way regardless if there is 10 pins or 91 pins out there. Your speed and spin might be slightly different than mine but that's OK as long as you do it the same way every time.
