I remember getting the wii on day one while on a trip to the USA and then coming back to my third world country to have stupid amounts of people coming over to play. Basically all the kids in the block would come over for a few weeks just to play wii sports for a bit. I don’t blame them wii sports has such an unique charm to it it’ll always be one of my favorites

For me the greatest console ever made. It achieved everything perfectly. Build quality tough. Size perfect plus adaptable. Colours to choose. Variety of games to suit every preference. Accessories galore if you fancied. Little touches endlessly. I could never understand why millions bought it then a couple of years later got rid. Perfect console while all the pandemic is happening. Long live the Wii.

Throwback! My family and I played this a lot back when the pandemic started! We even bought a projector and put it up on a white sheet so we could play in the driveway. It’s a really fun and special game that I will remember playing as a kid, when I was captivated by motion controls. But now I’ll also remember it fondly as something I played during 2020. I wish this version had online, play; would love to throw down with you in tennis haha.

I was never allowed to play gory war games when I was growing up so while everyone was playing call of duty, I was practically living off of wii sports during my childhood. At the time I absolutely loved wii sports but because I felt left out I was annoyed at my mum but now I realise I never should’ve taken them for granted because I’m absolutely addicted to wii sports games now, and they absolutely shaped my childhood. playing wii sports with my family is the thing that first pops into mind when someone asks me about my childhood

Dude, this game was my childhood. I used to play bowling with my friends, get some strikes, have fun and just have some plain laughter when we got 0 pins. But i still have it today, and after watching your video, i'm playing it a lot more. So thank you Nintendo Hero, for giving me a rush of nostalgia and making me remember all those things.

My Wii got stolen, but I miss playing and definitely want to again in the future. Love these nostalgia videos with the info on rewards, tips and hidden things. 😊 I actually listen to 2 songs on spotify that are about Nintendo lol. One song is Wii Tennis by Splash Daddy; the other is Animal Crossing Freestyle by Ben Yen. If you enjoy chill songs that have a meme attitude, I recoommend them haha. Kinda funny since New Horizons is my first Animal Crossing game. 😅

Sure, Tennis makes the most sense as a sport in Wii Sports and is probably the simplest to understand, but Bowling is literally so iconic that some people literally bought Wiis just to play it! On a slightly more positive note though, I just want to say that I just found your channel, and think it's SEVERELY underrated. Even though I think you could work on your delivery a bit (you sound a little robotic), you deserve WAY more than just 16,000 subs. Keep the great content coming!

Now that I have a homebrewed Wii with all the WiiConnect and WiiLink services working, I can confidently say without a shadow of a doubt that the Wii is my favorite console. Games are entertainment first, and the Wii did that in spades. I will never sell my Wii again. No other console makes me feel the way the Wii does. Not even the Switch. I’m not a boxing or baseball person, but Golf and Bowling will never get old for me.

I really miss the wii, we got a new television which was too new for the wii to work sadly, we had 2. One with games already on it and one we really had to put a disk in!

(UK) I remember getting the wii for Christmas back in 2006, I was 7 (where did the time go😢) I remember I used to play wii sports with my grandparents and my dad. This brings back so many memories (good memories) from a life much simpler. It makes me cry thinking about it, it was one of the only things me and my granddad really connected over and now he’s in a hospice with Alzheimer’s and doesn’t even recognise my face. But if I play the theme to the Wii sports menu on KZbin on my phone he starts laughing and tearing up. Breaks my heart 😭😭😭

Ok, I know this is off topic, but I remember a while back you made a Wuhu Island history video, where you said you really wanted to have a free-roam game on it. I have news. The VR game Blade & Sorcery has a mod which includes a complete recreation of Wuhu Island which is completely explorable with no time limits or boundaries. While it requires a VR headset, it’s a super fun mod which lets you really experience and explore Wuhu Island.

Same. My original Wii Sports disc is quite scratched up, but it still works really well. Wii Sports Resort however... *An error has occurred. Press the EJECT button, remove the disc and turn the power off. Please read the Wii operations manual for more information.*

This game is so nostalgic to me I decided to take up Speedrunning the game (especially bowling) and various other Wii series titles. It's actually really run and a lot different from running your average Mario 64 or OOT. Also in terms of your disliking of baseball due to the luck factor the main category in the category extensions page for Wii Sports is named 'All Sports No Baseball' which takes 'All Sports' (the main category) and just removes baseball with no other changes, so your opinion is definitely agreed with the majority. The luck in bowling is also applies, however there are setups that greatly increase your chances of strikes. The 8 pin is easily the most luck dependant and the only thing preventing me from breaking the 5 game barrier for reaching pro status in the Pro Status Bowling category.
