Donkey Kong Country Tropic Freeze is confirmed to run at 1080p, at 60 frames per second. I hope PS4 and Xbox One owners don't feel cranky.

Tropical Freeze did NOT run in 1080p on Wii U. It ran at 720p at 60fps. On Switch, however, it *DOES* run in full 1080p when docked. Unfortunately it takes a bit in handheld and runs sub-720p.

TheMCNinjas Actually that's different. With Sonic we already had two MAJOR dissapointments before 06 in the form of Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog. But NONE if the Donkey Kong Country games been bad, hell all of them are considered masterpieces.

1080p 60 fps was confirmed for this game. Pretty cool. One of the few cases where 1080p does make a difference. It's alot easier to see the incredible fur on the Kongs!

I also want to praise the graphics, and Retro of course. DK's fur reminds me a lot of Tress FX used in Tomb Raider. This kind of rendering is extremely taxing on hardware, and DK's fur should really put to rest the haters of the Wii U's power.
