I've had a *huge* crush on Ruto since OOT, she was 90% of why I bought Hyrule Warriors. She just looks so graceful and elegant, and her moves emphasize how amazing her body looks. Jandell Rhodes They put Agatha in, and we have no clue who Lana is. It's not too farfetched actually. I can see Linebeck using like a flying Treasure ship. Sailing around and swinging an anchor around, firing bombs, using the Salvage arm to collect various traps from a sea portal, and oen of his ultimate attacks being him drawing the golden Frog symbol to summon a huge storm, or summoning a Phantom army from the Ocean temple to attack several enemies. Plus you know how NIntendo is. They'll reveal a lot, but there's always room for secret characters and surprises!

Unless you consider only a few characters per title an amazing amount of playable characters, especially considering how many the Warriors games get, I'm going to guess they're keeping some characters secret.

It always irked me how fans of Super Smash bros seriously thought the games would be better with LESS characters just because "they don't like them" or "They wouldn't fit". I'd understand if people were asking for characters completely out of left field like a Goomba being playable, or Dr. Eggman, or "insert Anime character here", but it shouldn't be a crime to ask for characters that would fit in the game. It won't be a worse game if Linebeck is playable as much as some people really want to believe that depriving people of playing as thier favorites would make the world better.

MANdrew257 It is actually brilliant marketing. On one end, there is some major appeal to guys with all the gorgeous ladies prancing around and killing bad guys left and right, but at the same time, it's also super progressive, because most fighting games like this feature a highly male dominated roster of player characters. Now, all of this is just speculation from a random passerby, but I think it's great. I will leave you with this, the developers of the game have said they plan on having a balanced roster with the male to female ratio being 1:1.
