FierceRagnar I don't know. Something about the instruments used around 0:28 onwards just doesn't sound that good to me. Maybe when I actually play the stage it will sound better. It just sounds odd for something F-Zero related.

TheMida4 they won't it;s more like it's an era of jazz for the mario franchise, which isn't to say they've ditched orchestrated songs no far from it, they've just gone with a generally more catchy overall soundtracks to keep them in you mind as opposed to the older method of keep songs in you head from the galaxy series. also as i stated before jazz is nothing new to f zero, and i don't think big blue suffers from having a little variety in it's remixes from time to time

Having Big Blue in MK8 will make a lot of people think that this is Nintendo's way of telling us that we won't see another F-Zero game again. I think that this means that Nintendo is re-exposing people to the awesome franchise by including it in MK8. It's been dormant for the past 11 years, and if it's going to sell well, people need to find out about how cool it is by seeing part of it in a game that they already know about. Take Shulk as an example. Not many knew about Xenoblade Chronicles before seeing him in Smash. Now, it's one of the most, if not most, anticipated Wii U games. We'll definitely see F-Zero in the future. But, I don't think that it'll be very soon.

Nintendo DOES have interest in F-zero, but the problem that was admitted by them was that they always want to bring something new to the table when they make a new game. F-zero GX was phenomenal with car creation, an in depth story mode, and ruthless AI that made you grow a beard and put on 40 lbs of muscle by the time you mastered the hardest difficulties. However, it's "not good enough" to just throw another GX out. It's gotta have something more to it. Shigero Miyamoto hinted that he wanted a "specific type of player interaction with the game" when he was talking about his brainstorming. Considering that part of his brainstorming is resulting Starfox U, I'd say F-zero is "in the hands of heaven", and by that ,I don't mean that it's dead, but rather, it's in the best possible hands it could be in. I'd rather one game come out every ten years and blow my mind instead of it being driven into the ground.

I don't care if they make another F-Zero game. I want them to make a spin off starting captain falcon, a GTA sandbox type game that takes place in Mute City. Fzero GX expanded on such an awesome world and I want to explore it.

This would not fit to f-zero. The f-zero cars are race cars. You dont drive with race cars in normal streets.

Astro Mash F-zero is a nintendo racing series for the SNES and Gamecube. It featured Captain Falcon as the protagonist. Big Blue and Mute City are Mario Kart courses that are based off tracks of the same name in F-Zero, F-Zero X and F-Zero GX. Everyone wants a new F-Zero just like people want a new Metroid and Starfox because there hasn't been one (a good one in Metroid's case) for so long.

***** Those are definitely the two main ways to look at the situation: Either these two tracks and the addition of 200cc are meant to test the waters, or they're meant to satisfy said demand and won't lead to anything more. In the event they are testing consumer reactions and they are planning on a new F-Zero, then does that indicate an emphasis on elements outside of crazy-antigrav tracks and the speed come that new entry? Would we be getting a "rethink the basics" approach that Aonuma seems to be doing with the Wii U Zelda game?

Reasons there needs to be an F-Zero game: 1. With HD, Online play, a second screen, and powerful aspects of the Wii U there's so much potential for them to use. We don't need new gimmicks to enjoy a game. New tracks, characters, and campaigns are enough to innovate a game. 2. I understand Nintendo's demographic are kids and families but the kids they made games for back then are adults now. We need more mature and challenging games like Bayonetta 2, Fatal Frame, etc. 3. Racing games are a very popular genre, next to fighting games and FPS. It's something that'll satisfy both general audiences and fans. 4. We get yearly Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda games. Why not use their other IPs they have lying around for once? 5. Amiibos can be used as alternative skins for vehicles and characters. 6. I've never really played an F-Zero game (demos mostly). There are a lot of people out there this will appeal to and will be easy for them to hop on into. Thoughts? Feel free to add your own ideas or opinions.

One of the absolute BEST tracks in the entire DLC packs 1 and 2 next to some others of course like Animal crossing, GCN Baby park, 3DS Neo Bowser city and Wii Wario's goldmine, anyway this track is very fast paced racing on a F-zero Big blue inspired track and racing on 200cc especially= one heck of a excellent track!!!!
