This track has been dumbed down considerably, it's wayyyy easier then the wii version. At least it's pretty!

It gets a bit less easy when you have a group of skilled online players throwing shells in your general direction.

Actually the fact that the track is tilting half the time and you can't avoid stuff with the half pipes anymore it's quite a bit harder. What DID become easier though is the short cut which requires zero skill anymore, just driving forward.

RetroDeath Everything is easier in Mario Kart 8. In Wario's Gold Mine karts apparently give you a boost instead of hindering you (I haven't ran into one myself, because I logically assumed that would be a bad thing like on the Wii), the second corner after coming up the hill near the start has that extra area to make taking the corner wide not punishing at all, even the dirt in the middle of the tunnel with the bats is gone, making avoiding them without slowing down easier (plus there arent nearly as many of them). Every single course has been dumbed down to suit the players that suck. Even the Rainbow Road courses are dead simple... Mario Kart Wii was brilliant! And god damn was it hard when it wanted to be.

Redstar2613 The half pipes are gone making avoiding objects that much harder, the low gravity segments have tilted the entire parcour making it really hard to see what's coming next and the boost minekarts are really damn obvious if you've played the game longer than a week since they have blow lights and floating pods all over them. The only thing they really made easier was the short cut.

Did an Excellent Job on bringing this track back guys at nintendo!!! The track looks gorgeous and it felt so like the original and updated in HD at the same time which was an Awesome experience for me overall very satisfied with this track coming back!!! in fact all the returning Wii tracks were awesome cause they all stuck to their original concepts just like with the 3ds tracks too!!! :D

This track being brought back like this is SIMPLY PERFECTION!!! DLC pack 1's retro courses came out Eggcellent ;) in terms of both HD graphics and the Nostalgia!!! Wario's Goldmine gets a 10/10 from me!!! :D

EverythingMarioKart That is why you check the price of what you are trading in. The prices fluctuate pretty quickly and often. You got $50 for it because it was used. Sure someone might have been willing to pay more for it, but you have to remember, a lot of people don't want a pre-owned console. And when GameStop buys these, they have to buy them cheaply so they get some sort of profit from them.
