Because Daisy is not Luigi's girl. In Super Mario Land, Mario saves her so that means Mario used to go out with Daisy but then switched to Peach. Daisy was made so Peach could have a doubles partner in Mario Power Tennis for the Gamecube.

Fun fact: Mario doesn't seem to like Luigi because he's jealous. Luigi can jump higher, and conquer harder levels than Mario. Also, Luigi is nice and gets a lot of praise while Mario wants that praise that Luigi gets. Mario is just jealous. I like Luigi a lot more.

New Super Luigi U would be an okay game if they didn't use the same story like the one in New Super Mario U, they should've giving luigi a different story intend of the same one in new super mario u, a different story like in the beginning mario luigi peach and 6 toads having a picnic in the park then bowser shows up and yadda yadda yadda and not also he kidnap peach but mario as well because mario always foils bowser's plans and you know the math, and he also kidnap 4 toads for some reason i don't know, but bowser didn't kidnap luigi and the 2 toads because bowser thought luigi is weak i don't know how to say this and 2 toads because well he thought they would not be any match for him you know. So bowser kidnaps them and takes them to his castle. So it's up to luigi and the two toads and that guy with the mask or the blue penguin from other mario series that would replace that masked guy, they go to bowser's castle and rescue them.

TsKucik I didn't play this game yet and well you see even if the level should be or not the same the cutscenes should different you know to give luigi a reason to be a hero for once in his own super mario bros games, luigi saves the day not only peach kisses him on the cheek but mario pat his brother on the back saying he's proud of younger brother for saving them and the toads will jump up & down happly while shouting hooray for luigi. cause you see luigi always been in mario's shadow for a long time mario always rescue the princess always famous you know the math, but even so luigi will always there for not only for his friends but for his bro too, now i'm not saying this game is bad or anything i'm just saying since luigi has his own mario bros game for once there should be different cutscenes how luigi start his adventure from the beginning to the end insted of retracing the steps in super mario u that all. Because i seen some game review comments saying that New super luigi u sucks or something i guess it's because the cutscenes in this game are the same but that's my guess. I love luigi i know he has his own game in luigi's mansion but in a super mario bros game i don't mind if he had his own super mario bros game for once i'm just saying the creator should've givin him his own cutscene insted of using the same one in mario u because people know what's going to happen next because they already played mario u that's probably why some people don't like this game but that my guess. They didn't put that much work into it, becouse if they released it as full-priced game, people wouldn't feel like they money was worth it. Also Big N knew it wouldn't be the system-seller, so instead they gave us harder version of previous title and focused on selling points like Smash Bros. and Mario Kart. That's how I see it.

This kinda just looks like any 2D Mario game but with Luigi, I hope nintendo comes out with another 3D groundbreaker like Mario 64 or Mario Galaxy for Wii U, I mean Mario 3D world is good but it's like New Super Mario Bros but 3D, I kinda miss the idea of there not being a starting line and a finish line, going from A to B every level gets repetitive I love looking around and finding things and figuring out exactly what the point of the level is. It would be awesome if you save Daisy in Sarasaland and instead of Bowser its the Wario bros. Instead of the koopalings its Goomboss, Petey pirahnna,(probably)king bob-bomb, King Thwomp, Wiggler boss, King Boo, Waluigi, and the final boss is both the Wario Bros.

Luigi had games way before this bud, his first one was a "educational" game released on the PC in 1992 by the name of "Mario is Missing", the game was then ported onto the NES in 1993, and the SNES the same year. Luigi wouldn't get another game until the Gamecube in 2001 labeled "Luigi's Mansion" , later on he returned to player 2 for a couple years until 2013 when Miyamoto realized this neglected character needed to get shown some love; leading to the creation of "The Year of Luigi" Which they released "New Super Luigi U", "Dr. Luigi", "Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon", and a Mario & Luigi game named "Mario & Luigi: Dream Team", which made Luigi a main part of the story. I hate to give history lessons like this, but if you think THIS is Luigi's first game, think again bud.

Luigi doesn't even have that much history with Daisy. Everyone just assumes they're a couple because Luigi somehow needs a girl. Aside from the various spin-offs that aren't even canon, Luigi has had more interaction with Peach than with Daisy. I mean, Daisy's first appearance involved Mario saving her.
