@@peepa47Well because people focus so much on how the fox era was better, it can cause them to look past all the good things the Comedy Central era had to offer. The only 4 (or 5) parts you ever really see getting attention are ‘The Late Phillip J Fry’, the one scene’ with Fry’s mom in ‘Game of Tones’, ‘Lethal Inspection’ and Fry+Leela’s relationship in ‘Meanwhile’ (and Fry saying ‘Shut up and take my money’, but that’s just a single line rather the others where episodes/scenes) And even then, people can get so distracted by the ‘fox era better’ idea (which I’m not disagreeing with, just pointing out that it can cloud their judgement) that they sometimes forget some of the moments I mentioned above, or the just forget them (after all, I almost forgot to put ‘Lethal Inspection’ on the list when listing some of the standout parts of the Comedy Central era). Because of this, the jokes from the Comedy Central era don’t get as much recognition from the fox era ones, which is why they said season 6 was underrated.

2:54 Normally Zapp is one of my least favorite characters. But I fully agree with him here. What’s the point of magnification if the resolution isn’t any better?
@setcheck67 Жыл бұрын
Well technology, even today, allows you to fill in the missing spaces with predictive AI. Useless as hell for criminal investigation work(cannot have fabricated pieces used as evidence), but very useful for something like this where they are just trying to figure out what that thing was. Additionally it's very common to have a camera actually capture an image at some very high resolution and then have that camera provide lower resolutions and higher resolutions at the same time for the sake of loading times. In the year 3000 it would be very likely that their cameras would be so advanced as to capture images at something like 200k, the theoretical maximum resolution limit currently considered possible by science. Funnily HUMAN vision(not octopus/squid/possible alien) is at most 32k. So an image captured at 200k could be magnified by a factor of 10 without losing much fine detail to our eyes, even a factor of 100 would basically be 1440p.
