The two first tunes are WAAAY better than the NTSC-U/PAL versions!

I can't agree with this at all. That first level of Rygar for me growing up was massively iconic. But this one sounds very generic.

They should have used this for the Rolsa map and Primeval Mountain.

way darker. i see why they changed the opening song to be more upbeat. I like this better since i didnt discover rygar until emulators.

I wonder why Tecmo had such a difference in the music between the Japanese and Western releases? Maybe there were some tracks Hasuya-san wanted in the JP release but couldn't fit it in due to data limits of carts at the time. After playing through it, I sure was glad about one stage's music in particular actually being music. You know which one... LOL Great upload.

yea, and I prefer the music in this version. The US version in my opinion is more like the beta version.

How many tracks are different from US version?
@Duttroid6 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, 3. This one, the second area, and Den of Sagila (the third of which was actually inferior to the US version)

Not to sound negative, but the stereo kind of ruins this one. A perfect example is morning at Algos Mountains (Its actually Suru Mountains), the bass notes are not loud enough with the accompanying melancholic fore-notes. I'm a die hard Rygar fan and know my stuff. It just needs a slight adjustment and it would sound perfect. Not trying to slam on ya, just giving advice. By the way, the Flute Tower is called "The Tower of Garba". The mountain pass is Mt. Primevil. Garba's music actually sounds good here. :)

Casey Strange Yeah the earliness of 8BitStereo wasn't as fleshed out as it is now, I would recommend giving the download link in the description a listen, the mix is a bit more centered and now as heavy on the reverb. And yeah some videos like these still need updating on the tracks and such, definitely getting better from when I started out. Your kind of construction criticism, is always appreciated :)
@downforwardjab55037 жыл бұрын
You should just 'copy-paste' your same response every time someone complains about this. It's like every video someone has to comment on the reverb. Lol. Poor WiiGuy, just trying to help us get some awesome tunes.
