For the most part. Unless you are eating weird cheese, even if your lactose intolerant, you can eat cheese. The bacteria breaks down the lactose. If you can't handle milk and been avoiding cheese the whole time. Ooihhhhh boy. Cheese is great. I love milk too, it just has a heavy price to enjoy and I better be alone. Cheese though. I've always eaten the fuck out it and was like the only kid in school having to shit constantly because of breakfast serial! Turns out mainly white people can digest it due to a gene mutation. But as a native from Wisconsin... Left the Rez as a kid. Near the Rez and feel off about it. I should go there with our shared problem if super lactose intolerance but great love of cheese! Seriously... Cheese is categorized as dairy but it's doesn't really have much lactose and the lactose there is, it's kind of pre digested from the bacteria.

Pretty much all cheese contains lactose, and the majority of lactose intolerant people can't eat cheese, it gets em just fine Tho you are right that not every cheese has the same amount of lactose, usually the more aged and less milk content there is the less lactose there is. I suppose if you eat low lactose content cheese and have a tough stomach you can risk it, but thats living your life on the edge But then cheese is a tempting mistress
