What were the previous Australian governments doing. I wasn’t able to watch anything on Assange before because it was so upsetting but now the relief that he is safe I hope they haven’t broken him.

What a joke! He shouldn't have been held away from his family for 16 years to begin with! This isn't a win for democracy. It's a win for the over reaching government of America.

He was guilty and would have been home sooner if pleded guity sooner, and this is only my personal opinion. Australia did well! Hopefully, he writes a truthful book and enjoys the rest of his life with his loving family. Only wishing him happiness and good health. I will buy book.

The plea deal he accepted was a long time coming. He wasn't offered that in 2019. On the contrary, if he pleaded guilty back then, he likely wouldn't have returned to Australia.

Guilty of what exactly?? And the fact that a journalist was jailed for doing their job, tortured for years without trial and then forced to accept a guilty plea or die in jail, and your take is "Should've plead guilty sooner" is honestly insane. Just get the surgery. It's the only way you'll ever get the taste of boot out of your mouth. 🤡

Even KEVIN RUDD seemed more involved than the current PM.. It's like Albanese was like "oh yeah, I'm here too" as an announcement briefly mentioned Assange is free, whilst Rudd was there to meet Assange.
@garystinten9339
@garystinten9339 3 ай бұрын
@@00SmileTime00no.. Rudd went and made Albanese look as useful as he's always been.. just a kid in the background waiting for "his time to shine" and got pipped by an ex prime minister. I mean Rudd was in when Assange was first making headlines all those years ago.. and Albanese was virtually a pup into the arena. I'd honestly have Rudd back as PM easy.
