Dirty, bloody 70’s Brit horror flick played for seaside postcard laughs with its hand in its trousers and its tongue in its cheek. Cinematic gold. Donald Pleasance, we are not worthy. Thank you for posting.

British cinema from the 70’s. Utterly brilliant - thank you Lindsay Anderson, Kubrick, Nicolas Roeg,et al. British cinema from the 70’s - a chop fringed street urchin with a flick knife in one hand, his winky in the other and a permanently knowing smile. Raw, gritty cinema that wasn’t afraid to test boundaries.

Watching this movie for the first time now; ironically, a review for As Above, So Below recommended Death Line instead and I’m taking that advice. The opening music was so good, it let me on a quest to find it. So glad it’s here! I’ve seen As Above when it first came out but haven’t seen it in years. So glad I read the reviews and found Death Line

That will become more difficult, now that they have been given superpowers. And all because. Idiots thought they could cheat the evolution of the Ubermensche through the abuse of Transhumanism.

Just saw the film for the first time and this is very 70s. Very believable yet surreal

Probably the unlikeliest theme you'll ever hear for a horror film, but when you see the opening credit sequence, it makes PERFECT sense...plus it's wonderfully cheeky, considering the sheer horror that's to follow.

soundtrack to probably the finest masterpiece in british horror that is given not enough press, this film inspired creep, which was and is a poor rip off, this film captured the classic but forbodding atmosphere of the underground system in london ( filmed on the long closed aldwych branch) " MIIINNND THEE DOOOOORSSSS!!

The movie was pretty good, especially Donald Pleasance's performance and Christopher Lee's cameo. But this theme was the bee's knees.

What kind of music would you guys consider this? Some kind of blues, of course, but there’s a certain posture and sound that I can’t place.

WM's 1970 album is not like this at all but is great pop-psych-baroque fare w/ languid vox
