I’m going to be honest, Ghostbur’s death kinda hit different for me, you know? Like all the other deaths, I felt mildly sad, but a comforting kind of sad, a sad that I knew wasn’t real because it was just a pretend character from a roleplay. But I actually felt pain from this, something about his innocent and happy demeanour and the way he screamed when he died like he was so terrified and upset- I felt so sad and like I was going to be sick, I felt so sorry for him and I wanted to give him a hug more than anything but I couldn’t. I still feel numb and upset, I feel like I really knew him and that he was gone was so heartbreaking.

@@millyhearts I think it was _because_ of his happy demeanor. When Wilbur died for his final time, he was already down in the dumps. Whilst we felt bad, it was for the better. When Schlatt died, it was funny and better for the server to not be under his rule. When MD died, we already knew he was silly comic relief, not adding much to anyone's story. Tommy's death hurt me more, but that grief didn't have long to settle. Ghostbur didn't have reason for death. I can't think of anyone who disliked him; he was always so positive, kind, and funny. He died for others. He died because Tommy brought him there and Dream needed an ally. He spoke so much of wanting to stay dead, and he was told so many times that he would. And I think us as viewers new that the revival was for the worse. The server has a new antagonist. His death feels different because it _was_ different. And I'm sure the members knew that. ;)
