One thing I hated about being absent from Skyrim was scenarios like how he mentioned Carahil from the mages guild. It helped the game feel more alive because these people were actually mentioned during certain quests and dialogues. How many times have you heard someone mention Savos Aren outside of Winterhold while playing Skyrim. Aside from the guards it’s like each location was it’s own universe and nobody outside of it was aware of the characters or events within it
