I lOVE Nels, have seen him live with WILCO 6 times in the last 15 years. He's the best living avant garde guitarist. But the best of his generation? He's nearing his 70s. Born in 56. His generation includes Eddie Van Halen, Eric Johnson, AL di Meola, Alan Holdsworth, Phil Keaggy, Pat Matheny, Pierre Bensusan, Birelli Lagrene, Michael Hedges, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriano, and a ton of other great guitarists.

Me encanta la música que hace esta gente, me encantan sus letras, su manera de hacer y actuar. Nico Gonzalez I've read online that Nels uses Dorian mode in original, recorded version but he often explores notes outside of Dorian and makes it so-called bebop scale.
