This was my wife and mine song. We played it every Sunday morning and whenever we took a ride on the motorcycle. I dropped her off at the SLC airport and surprise her 2 days later at Lake Geneva Wisconsin. She was having a picnic and I started playing this song on my bike. I’ll never forget the look she gave when she realized it was me playing this song. Unfortunately I lost this amazing woman of 39 years to cancer but I always remember the joy this song brought us. RIP Pat❤️

Two of the best melodies Jeff ever wrote, both the vocal and the guitar line. It could be twice as long and I wouldn’t bat an eye. This is music to get lost in.

Growing up I was the son of a fundamentalist baptist minister I heard at least once a week about how I would be going straight to hell . It took a while but this song puts a lot of perspective on my life at 66 . Fortunately I was saved by music and now I’m enjoying the ride

Wilco is so good and their catalog is so deep that this gem barely gets a mention amongst their greatest songs. It, of course, is a top 20 Wilco song. No small feat.
