My hope is to inspire the conservation of the freshwater aquatic habitats of the planet. Everyone has a body of water somewhere close. Where does it come from? Where does it go? Are they free-flowing or have barriers? Any contamination? Just knowing this will make a difference. And if you can make your own wild aquarium, even better!

@@Mikolji thanks master for your sharing. I will try to protect the environment in my country. I have made my own wild aquarium based on your shared experience.

As always entertaining and so much to learn. A pall of me is starting a 2 meter tropical indoor riparium pond, black polyester, above the ground, in living room. It's ment for a group L200 Hemiancistrus subviridis green phantome pleco. We are searching for leave decoration. Is there any else then only Catappa leaves??? Do you maybe have any other suggestions of plants, with non poisenes leaves that can be put in the pond, from South America. Hope you could help us. Gr from the Netherlands You brought us to this pond idea Tnkx 😁👌

Have you considered using polarizing filter to reduce reflections? It should make a huge difference! :) Cheers!

I'm surprised that these Bronze Corydoras (23:26 .... 28:30) look so different from mine and others I saw in home aquaria and in French Guiana video on AquaNetTV, i.e., these Venezuelian ones have orange tails!
@danmrossi6 жыл бұрын
alot of fish can lose their colors in home tanks as they dont get subjected to either something in the water in their natural habitat / generations of in-breeding on commercial farms :(
@daphnia-magna6 жыл бұрын
@@danmrossi thanks. And why do you think Corydoras aeneus var. Golden Laser, Green Lazer and Black can keep their colours, but these orange-tailed ones can't... is that because those varieties result from selective breeding, while this one is wild?
@danmrossi6 жыл бұрын
Daphnia magna I think it can be many factors such as where they are collected in the wild as some species can come from multiple areas with differences in water parameters and inbreeding at fish farms that prefer quantity over quality...all fish throw out a few babies with less than desirable traits and in the wild there’s a high chance they get eaten by something where in the breeding farms they are protected etc. that’s my thoughts :)
