I do so love Duke and Khan! Their sleek fur and playfulness is so reminiscent of domestic kitties, just on a much larger scale. I love their vocalizations, and the fact that Kevin can call to them and have them answer back is truly amazing! Thank you for showcasing these amazing beings ❤.

Such beautiful boys, both of them♥️🐾♥️Love how different they are in character, each in his own way. They remind us so much of our mini-panthers that are part of our furry family. Our cats may not have such long tails but 3 of them also truly enjoy going up into trees. Even our elderly lady Aisha (15) still goes up as if it was nothing. And our young Milos (5) climbs up almost as graciously us your black boys do… Thank you for this wonderful video and all the interesting info.♥️🙏🏻🐾

I am an artist. When I work with various art or craft supplies, I "create" artwork whether that is a wreath, or decorate something to hang on the wall.... Or I might even create a Seasonal Display on my shelf. I have never read any stipulation anywhere which stated that the only way the word "create" can be used is in connection with God. Now, you deserve a chastisement. And I tell you this: to Be Careful about forcing your personal religious beliefs on others or it can end up being a witness "against Jesus." I personally have run into far too many religious persons who are self righteous and force their beliefs on others which amounts to being "CONTROLLING" and oppressive to others.

I knew a black cat that loved to dump its head on the ground, hind legs up and then roll until it fell over, just like Duke does here several times 😄 It's so adorable... a playful cat of any size warms my heart ❤

Only 2 hours to get Duke into the loading truck? It takes me that long to get my 12 pound kitty into the cat carrier lol. Hats off to you. I loved learning about the differences in appearances between jaguars and leopards.

Hehe very true - I get their carries out and leave them open a few days before so the cats don’t get freaked out by them, and it still takes over two hours lol ! There must be a better way ! 🐈 🐈‍⬛

@@something-beautiful I used to do that with my older kitty. After a day or so, she got used to the carrier being in the same room. But, my younger kitty is too sharp. Once she sees the carrier, she knows a visit to the vet is on the horizon. If I even move towards the carrier, she runs and hides. I try to tell her the vet visit is for her own good, but she doesn’t believe me lol.

I think Kevin never forgets that these animals could very easily kill him if they wanted to. He has an extraordinary talent for being able to work with them as he does; most zoos and sanctuaries nowadays would never allow it, for good reason. What everyone who works with animals like this has to remember is that even if they love you it’s no guarantee that they’ll never attack you, because they can’t always help what their instincts tell them to do.

So interesting watching the different species of cats and how they behave. Lions are soooo different than any other cat, big or small, because of the social aspects of their behavior. These leopards act more like my house cat, which I find totally fascinating. I imagine my kitty is a miniaturized, shrunken down version of a leopard, on the hunt for prey, lol. Good stuff!!

I always love how playful & naughty the leopards are. I'm probably wrong, but they seem more like domestic cats (to me anyways) than the lions in some of their behaviors.Thank you for educating us on all the characteristics as well as differences of the species Kevin. Didn't realize the jaguar was different from the leopard. Just thought it had to do w/the location or region they lived in. Now this is going to send me down a rabbit hole as we have mountain lions, but depending where you live they are also called cougars, panthers or pumas always thought they were the same. Now I want to know if these are all different types of cats.

In the Americas the mountain lion is also called a puma, a cougar or a panther. It's all the same animal, but called different things depending where you live, since these cats are found from Canada to Patagonia!

Hearing Kevin I checked Jaguar on Wiki. A very different animal than the african leopard. No tree cat but a swimming cat (don't they hunt Alligators too ?) Their bigger head allow bones and muscles for a strong bite ; they crush the skull of mammalian to kill them. They crush the carapace of tortoises too. In that respect like Hyenas. Short tail, no climbing.

The species "lion" belongs to the Genus Panthera, scientific name "Panthera Leo" Jaguar: "Panthera Onca" Leopard: "Panthera Pardus " But The Cougar is a "Puma Concolor" scientifically. So Jaguar and Cougar do not belong to the same Genus, not the same animal thus scientifically (check in Wiki the details). Of course they must have common ancestors.. but do not have humans and chimpanzees common ancestors? Friendly yours; we share knowledge..

Duke & Khan are such characters as well as good-looking. Their leaps up into trees are incredible, it is a joy to watch them display their agility. Question: Would you have given up a human trait, let's say, opposing thumbs, if you could exchange it for the jump height of a leopard/black leopard?
