@@charlesheinke8381 I really wish the market was better but I'm spending $1600 a month in rent for a small apartment with a lot of Dogs in my building. I don't feel comfortable going out as I may run into into one. Last month one was jumping on me while I was trying to get into my unit. It should take me 2 or 3 more weeks to finish breaking down my layout and I will know more about my eye as well. My contract info is on my KZbin about me page.😊

Thanks Craig. I was very surprised about the bird and without my security camera I would not have known what happened. I'm feeling okay right now and it is very good I have not lost my sight. I am going to continue to make video's as much as I can of the take down of the layout and keep everyone up to speed if I find a house. It's tough right now with the high prices but I really need to get out of this $1600 a month rent for a small apartment. it has to be a better 2025 I really hope.!

Oh brother. Yeah, we've had birds get in the house twice. Carolina wrens like to perch overnight under the backdoor awning so we have to be careful opening the door that we don't spook them into flying the wrong direction, that is inside the house! Both times we were able to shoo them back outside again. Wild critters CAN manage to get inside! Sorry to hear about your health issues Mark! You look like you're on the road to recovery so that's good. Best of luck with the new house!

Sorry to hear that you have had additonal health issues. Hopefully, thing will be better going forward. I've had birds in my house as well. They have all come down my chimney and out thru the furnace vent. Always in the winter when the pass out after sitting at the top of the chimney for the warmth. I can always tell one has been in my house. I have a 36 year old cockatoo, that lives with me, and he is always agitated when one has been flying around the house when I am not there. He is caged when I am at work. I'm sure the new layout will be even better.

The bird thing is way too bizarre! Even though it was a temporary layout, I always thought it was awesome. Hopefully you’ve got the health issues behind you. It does sound like a rough 12 or so months. Hang in there man! 👍🏻

The bird could've gotten in through an attic access panel, usually they are in closets. Or maybe a maintenance guy came in when you weren't home and left the door open. I hope you have a good rest of the year and better health.

Thank You. I have a security camera by my front door as well so no body left any doors open without me knowing. I'm in a all cement apartment building with no vents and electric heat. He may have got in through the bedroom window but my train table prevents me from looking until I finish taking it down. I will let you all know if I find anything in the future or the birds remains. Oy! Hopefully, your health issues have gotten resolved. Other than the airplane, it looks like mostly superficial damage. The bird probably got in through a vent. You could probably make a short, horror video, with the bird flying around. A house, with a decent basement, is the best. You just can't beat a basement, for a good layout. They are usually dry and cool, unlike an attic. Everything that I have either goes on shelves or in totes, on the floor beneath the layout. Either way, keep up the great work. It will be nice to see the progress on the deconstruction and then the new build. An excellent video, as always.

Hi Mark. I just saw your last video and I must say I'm a bit in shock. It's difficult when multiple things happen to you but you will rise above all of this. Just take one thing at a time. Now that you have your health under control start looking forward to your new home. That is a project that takes a lot of effort. Once you are settled in start planning on your new layout. Eventually you will have your new home and your new layout and you will feel a sense of relief. You are such a great guy and deserve the best. A lot of us out here have been following your channel for the past couple of years and having 2000 viewers makes a great statement about how people feel about you! I'm already looking forward to you being in your new house and seen your new layout that you will have ready to go. You not only two things to make your house the way you want it but also your new layout the way you really want that. Set type of track as well as the landscape and the trains that you've always wanted to run. Don't be discouraged because you have a lot of people out here that are saying prayers for you. One thing at a time mark. Health, new house, add a new layout with things that you will enjoy. Don't forget to show us your new home as well as your new train room! Thanks So Much.! 😊 I sure hope so and the Bird really threw me for a loop as well. I talked to my realtor today and he is going to keep an eye out for me. I should take me another 2 or 3 weeks to finish taking the layout down and that will really help when the time comes to move. By then I will know more about my eye and hopefully I will be ready to start looking for real. The house prices are a bit of a problem but here in Illinois with everyone leaving the state their are more houses to choose from. Thanks for you prayers and support it really means a lot to me.
