Nice one mate , was that the same night as mine last Sunday into Monday ? I need to have a wander up there for a scout about it has some great views . I guess leaving your car up there is ok , I was always wary with it being on a main road . Atb Dave ⛺️🌅👍

Aye it was. Did that the same day as my last one so gave me some extra days to edit it. There’s a few cracking spots along this route. I’ve left my car at that lay-by a few times now and it’s always been ok.

I picked up the same tent recently. I still need to take it out here in California but my spots are closed from the storm damage. I dig the navy blue. Nice mods. I was thinking of tucking the trekking pole under for more stability too. Like the Terranova Northern Lite 2.

I’ve used it a few times and so far it’s been fine. In my next one coming up I was on a coastal camp with more wind and it stood up well again. Used one pole inside and one as an anchor outside again. Both door sides don’t have the guy ropes so I added them to the loops you’d tie the door back with. It’s fine on a breezy day but if you have the trekking poles then it’s handy to add in.
