Wild Camp in the Mourne Mountains | No location given | Oex Phoxx II, Helm 2 compact

Saturday past ​⁠​⁠‪@stephensophietracygrace626‬ and I took on another wildcamp in the Mourne Mountains along with Sophie (first wildcamp).
I haven’t gave away the location in the video but if you’ve done any walks in the Mournes there is a good chance you know where the camp was.

Thank you for watching. That was the first time we where down that way, I think we took the wrong track down, coming back up was much easier. It’s definitely worth it mate if you are going but i wouldn’t recommend it on a warm still night, the midgies would be out. Again thank you for your kind words 👍.

Still using the Eurohike Nepal 65L? How do you find it? I’ve minimal gear and find it abit snug and heavy as you say.

Yea I’m the same, I’m not a fan of it to be honest. Like you say everything seems tight and the bag itself is probably heavy as well. It definitely will be next changed, I’m on the hunt for a lightweight rucksack.

I’m tempted to bring the packed bag to Go Outdoors as it closest to me. Put everything into a new rucksack and try it for sizing. Wonder would they allow that??
