Loch Ard, one of my favourite spots, so enclosed but yet vastly open space. I don't know why but the smell of burning wood always brings my fond thoughts back to that area. Would love a full gear review along with pricing and specs. Thanks again my friend for awakening many happy memories. Until the next time, take care and peace out.

It's a 10k fine for camping at most of Loch ard for half of the year. If the wrong person sees this he is in alot of trouble.

A great slow down of pace for this relaxed forest walk. Beautiful Loch Ard, with its calm water. Yes, a gear video would be good for many people. How do you usually navigate; map and compass? Your videos show your unique perspective on walking and nature, and its very entertaining to watch.

I normally just use a map on my phone but always download it incase of no signal. Thanks for the support, it’s much appreciated

You're just so good at finding incredible camping spots, though private beaches do tend to come with complimentary midges... I tend to feel a wee bit intimidated by forests, although I do enjoy having them in my view, so thanks for sharing it. If I'm not mistaken, that looks like the old Loch Ard YH in the background at 13:20 - others may remember better than me. Yes, I'd be interested to know what gear you use, for as you say, it's a fairly individual thing - and a good one to pre-record when you have the time, and keep up your sleeve in case you ever can't get out for some reason. Enjoy the rest of your weekend now!

First of all , another nice video from the lovely countryside side. I always looking forward to see your adventures , well done . I would hopefully walk in the near future into Scotland aswell , but i need to get my legs ready first 😊 It would be a great idea if you could do a video of your gear you use for most of your hikes. And if possible also about Maps, your navigation in and around your adventures. Im Totally not familiar with your country so you could help me a lot by give advices . Just to make it possible for a beginner like me to come visit Scotland and get into a nice hike. Keep up the Great Works, your video's are inspire me a lot . Thank you

Nice video 👍 We've recently been foraging and quite enjoy the wild garlic, dandelions etc. for cooking and tea/s. My wee question: Do you ever think about doing this? Our next stage are mushrooms, which have to be identified correctly 💀Natures larder 😁

Great relaxing watch .. Reckon most people like gear list films, I think of the majority of them are like cool documentaries tbh. You did a cracking job of appearing to be relaxed while the wee beasties nibbled on yer . 👍🏼. Belvetas for breakfast! Reminds me of head for the hills videos..😊

Thank you for yet another great location. I'd prefer if you didn't go down the route of gear reviews and just focus on your outdoor experiences. There are plenty of other channels that obsess over equipment and too few doing what you do.
@ScottishSummiteerАй бұрын
Yeh I’m not really bothered about gear tbh, it’s more about the adventure for me. If I do a gear related video, it would just be a list rather than reviews

Nice loch and mountains, shame its choked with alien forestry plantations.... Just ugly and creepy to a once beautiful oak and scots pine native forest... Oh well a nation gets what it deserves to allow such devastation and greed. Sorry but its the truth, your videos are really good and entertaining as usual.... Thanks for sharing.
@BeanboiwolfАй бұрын
WWII they introduced tons of plantations so we could gain timber quickly it is really a shame that we have to undo so much of that invasive plantations

Oh hey great video buddy. Great scenery. The thing is there are many great parts of the world left. This country is not the same but hey we are still a good country. I don't like sending this but people have a right to hear it. This was a T.V. show but that speech is very true with facts. It's a bipartisan speech. I was 27 almost 28 when the speech happened. Hey buddy many empires throughout history have been on top and are not anymore. Hey I think the U.K. is great we have each other's backs. We are all in this together. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bojblZSLbqampLc.
