@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures It’s a very popular place for campers sometimes there can be half a dozen vans parked there over night, I’m sure it’s a small minority that are disrespectful but give others bad reputation. It’s also popular with surfers although I wouldn’t like to carry a surf board down there. You picked a good couple of days/evening . I noticed your opening intro and recognised the terrain found the related video last night. Have you tried Ravenscar? It has a big car park and some nice views.

Another great little video ,been a yorkshire lass down in Perrenporth, Cornwall,drip fed on rattler ,I know exactly where you are as use the spot when I go back up as nice & peaceful,stumbled across it & have a little book i get hubby to log all my best sites in so I don't forget.. Love the sea view & peace at that location ,see plenty of them & similar sunsets at my present locality.. Nice editing ,Looking forward to you getting to grips with the drone as thinking of getting one.. Branstons a real sweetie,ours loves his dubventures.. Good luck hoovering them feathers up,take you forever but you can't beat a clean van.👍

That intro is really nice. The shots are looking great on my TV and I like the styling of the text. My bigger peeve than the forks is paper straws. I think they just feel horrid to drink through so I got some metal straws for the van. Looked like an awesome spot. I wonder how busy it gets on a weekend.

Went there in September , boiling hot weather , was camping at Robin hoods bay, left the T4 at the campsite and jumped a bus to Scarborough for the day , had a good day there, walked to the castle but didn't go in, entrance charge was extortionate, bought dressed crab at the harbour for my supper .

Really great vlog. The new gear is making everything look more polished, including the van!🤣 The cuts between B roll and straight to camera keep the viewer intrigued. I always watch on a Saturday am with a decent coffee and bacon. Check out the Extreme Motorhome Adventures KZbin channel as they have some great video styles, drone footage, and maps/graphics. "I have to think about the shot because of the narrower field of vision" - perhaps a few too many cuts of your behind in the opening sequence, and I am sure that would be fine for your good wife, but - a little off putting to us normal folk... 🤣🤣 I love the North Yorkshire coast, might be my Whitby(ish) roots. I am envious seeing those Fish and Chips, I am desperate for some decent Whitby F&C, but would settle for Scarborough right now. Looks like a nice spot that, I have seen a few others in North Yorkshire discussed on here - certainly around the backend of Robin Hoods Bay - which always looks nice.

Ive the same camera and I’m having the same trouble as you in the first part of the vid, it keeps changing focus and goes blurry! It seems to be better when the camera is still. What’s your thoughts?? have you thought about doing a second you tube channel on photography? You’ll be great at that being a pro and great presenting skills. Ill subscribe.👍

Yep, putting it in "i Auto" Movie mode seems to have totally fixed the issue... I filmed another video this week and think I have nailed it. That and buying the ULANZI wide angle adaptor to help with the viewing angle too... I still love it, so far the only issues have been user error... - Thought about doing another channel re: photography but there are so many out there I think I will just throw in a few photography parts in the odd video (more photography in next weeks video) but its mainly a van channel and I enjoy that...

I have a gimbal but use it with my So y A7iii for professional work. Gimbals are too clumsy for vlogging though and something else to charge up 🤣🤣! Would work fine on the ZV1 though but as long as you keep fairly steady you should be fine - you'll see in next week's video that I have pretty much nailed it ! :)

Just like you and your pop top camper, my pop top camper is a none dvla reclassification compliant motorcaravan I.e. just a van with an £18000 full conversion. Who do you get yours insured with, are they bothered about the none dvla compliance and are they reasonable on price?
