STEALTH CAMPING in my VW Camper Van - **DID I GET CAUGHT**??

Just a random one for you guys this week, its an itch I wanted to scratch and I have now ticked it off my list. Watch the video to see how it all went! ALSO my new vlogging equipment arrived... Yey!!
Next week a return to "normal" as I go wild camping in the van to a beautiful spot in East Yorkshire...

Your fear of being found out and then not sleeping for so long …you’ve just reassured me - I think I’d be the same, I was nervous for you! Did you have any ventilation with the cooker on the go? You did mention having the fronts cracked open during the night. Love the ‘bulkhead curtain’.

Hey, yes I open the door slightly and run the fan I have (I mount it near the door) also I have two CO alarms just in case! ;) I'm sure I'd get used to it if I did it a lot, but yeah, not a great night's sleep :( Curtain is a game changer buddy !

No good for stealth camping but if you want to stop a the condensation try some bubblewrap on the window. Dampen the middle a bit before you stick it on and leave overnight.

I have three large microfibre cloths in my van and I use one to wipe the windows down with - they are £3 from Wilko. Works a treat, but having three - means always having dry ones while out there camping.

Ill be interested in knowing what settings you have on your Sony ZV1 (when you start using it) I use one but its not as good as my GoPro when it should be!. You a photographer No pressure 👍

Haha I touch on it in next week's video as I filmed with it 90% of the time. it has its limitations though and is actually better in iM mode (intelligent movie mode) with active stabilisation, on a selfie stick and with the wide Angle Lens attachment, Manual mode opens it up to "user error" but I am getting better "all round" performance in auto (as a pro photographer it bothers me haha, but unlike taking photos, I just want to turn on the ZV1 and film without faff.... week after next I talk about it as I will have had more use with it....

Thats awesome mate, have a good look around it before you drive away, but mine has been flawless ever since installation.... 2hrs is a road trip mate 🤣🤣! Love it! Yeah I retrimmed the headliner to suit (did it over Christmas) it's a pretty straightforward job, have a look at last week's video, I mention where all the screws are, you'll swear a lot 🤣

Yeah MPB is my go to company, totally reliable and give you a pretty decent trade in vs the faff of ebay, tyre kickers and postage etc... Hiya buddy, I just use an extending curtain pole so it can be removed when not in use! It screws out and holds up with pressure on each end! Hope that helps
