Wild Camping Canoe Adventure Loch Doon in Scotland - 3 Day Wild Camp, Campfire Cooking

Join me and an old friend as we spend three days wild camping on the beautiful Loch Doon in Scotland.
We have been trying to get a trip arranged for some time now and finally got the calendars to work, he has not long bought his Canadian Canoe, made the wise decision to switch from his kayak.
An absolutely amazing trip, even if the weather (wind) at times was a bit harsh - but we don’t let it break our spirit - keep moving forward!

It’s a really nice loch, it wasn’t busy either but I haven’t been in the warmer months. We paid a few quid to the caravan park and left the cars there and there is a ramp down to the loch just outside of the park, the cafe further down is usually too busy to park there. thank you for watching and subscribing 😃👍🏻

Nice one lads, was great to see the Loch again after having just been up there. You definitely had some skanky weather at times but it didn't put you off did it 😀. Similar winds to us as well. Hard graft at times but good scran to refuel after the graft. Nice one 👍, atb Rick n Billydog

Nice one Rick 😃 stunning place, definitely going to go back next winter, hopefully be able to get further down the Loch weather permitting 🤞🏻 I can deal with any weather, but wind is the devil 😂 was like a summers day the end of Saturday after all that earlier on, it was bizarre, looked like u guys hunkered down nice in the hot tent tho!! Hey thanks and thank you for watching. We parked on the caravan park, there’s a car park at the cafe etc but it gets heaving with people watching the ospreys.

@@Draboh aye, slipped them a few quid on the day, I didn’t arrange it prior. Just saved it being on the road in the way. Opposite the caravan park there is an gated emergency slip road down to the water which helps for ingress
