I live in Watchet, I took my motorbike with my grandson as pillion up to ‘dead woman’s ditch’ on the Quantock’s and there was about 20 ponies up there trying to get some of out picnic. Lovely video

Enjoyed this Sandy :) As a youngster (from about 8yrs) visited the Quantocks with my parents each year when visiting close friends in a Village nearby named "Bagborough", I was allowed to walk their dog named Spider (on a leash). Uncle George was never too pleased if he saw the Hunt on horseback with hounds chasing a Stag. Woodland tea superb :)) Cheers...Les

@@WiltshireMan Its a lovely walk. I'm hoping next year to walk the Icknield Way and the Wessex Ridgeway Way. Like you say in your videos about these all joining up. This year I walked the Clarendon way. This was a lovely 30mile. Winchester cathedral to Salisbury Cathedral. I highly recommend it.

Regarding showing car number plates, in your Paramotoring video you forgot to blur it out, but can malcontents really do much harm from knowing the number? I use an old edition of power director 15. The computer freezes up and it takes me about 5 hours to edit a 10 minute video!! I only do it because I enjoy it and it's a hobby. Cameras are Panasonic Lumix g7 very tatty around the edges now and gopro hero7 black.

Nice video, I noticed your friend's backpack is quite small considering he has to carry all the usual stuff for an overnighter - tent sleeping bag, stove etc. Does the Langshan 1 pack quite small ? I use a Vango Nevis 200 and sometimes my polish plash palatka.

Yes the Lanshan1 does pack quite small. It is a good lightweight tent for someone on a budget and it works.

Sandy, I'm a lightweight gear tragic. I noticed you haven't used that Branson pickle lid and wick stove you used on the Wainwright walk. Was there a drawback with it?

Perhaps not as much heat output as the trangia burner but the lid stove did work well especially for the warmer months. and economical too.

@@WiltshireMan apart from the weight, the trangia type stoves allow you to save unburned fuel by plopping the lid back on and screwing it up. I remember reading on a website supplying trangia type stoves that had been especially soldered to prevent leakage. At the end of the day the heavier trangia type stove could actually prove to be lighter because of the fuel saving.
