***WILD CARP FISHING*** - Is this the Most UNIQUE Lake?

First up Mike visits a lake like no other, a lake that resembles a maze. It's a wonderful, wild carp fishing experience with good friends over at Ashmead. He then heads off to a location thats never been captured on video, a beautiful complex of lakes in North Devon. Creating a carp fishery is a slow process, you can't rush nature but Hacche Moor is certainly a wildlife oasis and it's a fishery that contains some wonderful carp to pit your wits against.

This lake is just down the road from me, never had the chance to fish it, I spent a lot of time on the water just over the fence from that place....brilliant little fishery..... I will get on that lake one day though when I feel I'm ready... Best looking lake in the south west that I've seen without a doubt, I've met the bloke and he is so passionate about the place its unbelievable

Nicely done Mike, it was my childhood mecca in the 80's. I used to take a few low doubles on crust and corn, lots of tench and a huge amount of chunky eels. Old peg 1 was the mecca swim. Are those eels still there? It was mid-doubles max in 1985 when boilies were new-fangled. Good old Tommy Squire.

Fished ashmead years ago had a syndicate ticket for few years amazing place skeff is also top guy knows how to look after the environment. Definitely the way forward not sat next to your rods carp would do the off there .you see them they see you

Yes Chris, they know you're about thats for sure. Love Ashmead, I'm a regular but equally Haache was very enjoyable also, Skeff and Parky are from the same mould in terms of fishery management vision. Both great guys.

Are you aware you can only be a maximum of three metres between rod buts or you are classed as not being in control of your rods
