Dear @Aegle Creations, Documentary isn't bad! But it does not give much details specifically about Sri Lankan Cats even though the name is "Wild Cats of Sri Lanka"! One of the biggest mistake was that you have never mentioned the Sri Lankan Leopard as Panthera pardus kotiya and you could have mention about all 9 leopard subspecies in the world as well. As the apex predator of the Sri Lankan forests, you could have given more time, details and emphasis on Kotiya as well. Thank you for your great effort and hope you could do much better one next time. Cheers! 👍👍

Thanks for the feedback. Wild cats are hard to film, so we were limited with the narration there. Agreed about the Sri Lankan Leopard, however we’ve done a lot on the Sri Lankan leopard in the past, so felt that it might be repetitive here. Thx!

Before A few months i was travelling to Colombo In private vechicles For personal work and Then Return After A day.. on the way to home town i just found a fishing cat in near polannaruwa hospital and i took u turn a vechicle and comes to other side of road and see that .. that's very big . first time i thought that's a leopard .i think Polannaruwa area is a best shelter of fishing Cats .. Same a journey i was see a jackal in passed mannampittiya bridge when going to colombo. now i have a dream to see srilankan Leopard on Road

Yes, the Fishing Cat is quite large and is often mistaken for a leopard. If you want to see leopards in Sri Lanka, the best places would be Yala and Wilpattu National Parks.

@@As_hr_ik Well, there’s no guarantee that you will see them on the road, outside National Parks. It’s very rare to see leopards on the road in Sri Lanka.
