Last year, I spent 10 days in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, hunting caribou and fully immersing myself in the Arctic ecosystem. After taking my first Caribou bull, my cameraman, Jon and I, caught a Greyling, gathered some blueberries and made a wild-caught backcountry Alaskan feast fit for a king: Caribou tenderloin medallions cooked in caribou fat and Greyling fillets topped with wild blueberry sauce and fresh Greyling roe. This is how God intended man to interact with nature, to be a part of it, to know it and love it deeply. Hunting is conservation. God bless.
