Jack Wattley has been in Germany at 2006 or 2007 on Discus Championship in Duisburg, I saw him walking around because my instructor told me that JW is here. My Instructor told me some things about him before so I was somehow proud to see him live. I cared Discus for 8 years, switched to saltwater tanks but discus trigger me all times i see big ones at YT. Thanks for all these insider information about care and breeding. Greetings from Germany!

Thanks for geinune video gabe👍 1. Instead of acriflavin shall I use potassium permanganate, hope both have same action? 2. Adding this much salt will increase tds does it harm discus? And how many days you continue (you add) acriflavin and salt? And I plan to quarantine my new discus in this way (gabe way)
@gordonchoo4295 жыл бұрын
Good question I want to know too. Hehe
@JackWattleyDiscus5 жыл бұрын
No PP will burn on any open wounds. Acryflavin is much better. It will not burn and will heal the wounds. Also salt is added only once beneficial for mucus production to cover up open wounds as well. These remedies are used primarily during the receipt of new stock.

Do you know which med trio I should use when I first get wild caught discus that are available on i Europe? Like on if they have it on Amazon UK II can buy it, from chemicals from Amazon U.S.A, they say no shipping to Sweden. I ahve used Eisha Hexamita, Eisha NDX and Eisha 2000. But if I buy 14 Discus that costs 450 dollar per fish, Royal Green Tefe Adults straight from the wild. I want to be sure... API General cure, is that really enough? And I am not even sure I can get that anymore... Or would you reccomend me to buy Axelrodi F1. Those are bred in captivity, but then they are 1,5 inch fish. All I here is buy as big as you can afford. Thanks in advance. No rush, but when you have time, please answer this question for me. Best Regards.

@JackWattleyDiscus5 жыл бұрын
pH is too low in transit to create true ammonia, besides we fast for a few days prior to shipping so no waste is created.
