A few things. The box jump attack is useful when u consider the other 2 charged attacks are 2 attacks as opposed to 1. This attack is great for sleeping monsters. If u have more skill u can wiff the first hit of the grounded charge attack and hit him with the slam. But u can just hit him off the box jump.

That makes sense but also when I sleep a monster I just don’t stop attacking cause all the attacks I get during the animation of them going to sleep is worth more than the one big hit

bow is considered best in the game and its pretty straightforward. Claw is the noob weapon where you can do basically everything without having to worry much at all about anything. Everything else is pretty balanced imo. The umbrella is really hard but also really mediocre even when using it right

No worries, it's also a stance in MH and Sekiro. The only reasons I know lol I'm not a samurai sword expert. I do have to say, I tried out Nodachi and really enjoyed it more after switching my Iai Stance button on my Mouse Thumb button using software (game doesn't allow mouse button mapping). For all the M+KB users, its hard to hold down F while trying to move forward/back(W/S) + right (D)

King tusk is my favorite to practice on cause he’s so big and easy to not miss, you should try the box down slam on him, it’s so satisfying

Hi. im using the PC. i can;t seem to spring jump into the 2 spiral slashes to charge my iai stance. Whenever i use the spring to jump and attack, it always uses up my iai attack. Is there a work around this?

no clue, i know mouse has bugs with certain attacks so not sure, maybe in settings try messing with the hold vs toggle for stances. That might help

Yes the meter charges from attacks lmao. It charges faster from katakuri attacks too

When you consider remaking your weapon how would you path it out?

find your end point first, look at the skills it has in it, from that you can choose skills that compliment it or can add to the skills it has and on top of that can add utility to what you would want in your playstyle or boost the skills you chose primarily like for example with some hit and run staff players would want kale to prolong their charge level vs a staff player who wants to constantly be attacking and weaving when necessary

@@RisenRen it answers how to do it yourself and for you to understand the skills you know what you personally would need but imo (since I do speedruns but i dont really post to youtube) if you really want end skills just desperation in replacement of destructive arts/slight of hand (because you can easily get that on talismans) is good enough for deeply vio (and really how it is rn isnt that bad either) and can keep the others or also replace one of those two with another skill like tigers den or one stroke fury but mainly from what they have currently the only missing thing most speed runners use is desperation

I'd be all for the celestial anchor playstyle if it wasn't so finicky to use, but it's annoying as hell. The jumps have no s rendering it completely useless in flow, especially when your direction is bound to initial anchor. May as well use one of the other button mashy spin to win weapons . Also, the spinning full charges from Springs and C.Threads don't do "almost the same damage". They do almost 20% less damage than the proper full charge.

The time to get it out vs the damage of the hit id say they’re basically the same. I was doing around 3200 with both tho so I’m not sure it’s 20%

And celestial anchor only pulls in lai stance. To dodge just release your lai then cancel is with jump and you can go any direction
