This is some great stuff, definitely things I was missing after putting 60 hours into the game.

Thank you! There is so much this game doesn't teach you. I like the tutorials in the menu but it would be nice if there was an optional tutorial you could play through. Right now I'm building a bow and the next node, the only direction I can go, says forging conditions aren't right. It doesn't show a leave or monster head, doesn't show me what materials are needed either. Not sure if I just haven't progressed enough yet or if I need to kill a certain kemono or something.. frustrated with it though lol

Thanks for the video, I have seen some people complaining about aspects of the game like not being able to move after certain attacks and not using the karakuri tools the game gives them. I wish they would read the tutorials...smh

Played a few hours of the 10 hour trial, needs optimization on PC but its very good.As a PC player no FOV slider is almost a deal breaker so i hope they add one asap. Im very curious what sort of endgame will be on offer after the story is completed.

one question, then there not other weapons? only one giant upgrade tree? its gonna be a hassle to keep changing everytime to kill an especific monster
@deadcaptainjames6045 Жыл бұрын
You can craft more than one weapon of each weapon. You don't have to keep changing the tree.

Pretty much yup. Multiplayer opens up nearly immediately, and quest and story progress can be shared seamlessly.

Does the game have transmog system? And if it does, is it just as grindy as in MHW?
@BluntyTV Жыл бұрын
There is yes. and like MH it's unlocked deep into the game... and NFI what you mean by "grindy"... the layered armour system in MH isn't "grindy"!
@memer34per39 Жыл бұрын
@@BluntyTV Bruh... Not only was the layered system locked until you completed the main campaign\Iceborne campaign (if we're talking about weapons, as well), but certain sets were literally locked behind the latest stages of endgame. To top it off, arch tempered versions of monsters didn't give any _new_ reward _except_ for items for crafting layered armor. If that doesn't qualify as "grindy", then I don't know what does. After seeing that this game is made by Koei Tecmo, I hoped they would borrow the system from Nioh. It's hands down the best transmog system I've seen so far. You get an item = you automatically get it's skin and all you need to apply it is some symbolic sum of money. And it's available almost right away, as soon as you get access to the blacksmith.

OH you mean "you have to do a thing in the game to earn something".... yeah, man, you have to "do things" to "earn things". You're acting like it took fuckin' weeks of RNG rolls just to make some cosmetics or something. "grinding"... LOL.

@@BluntyTV Ahahaha you need a gold star for this comment. I don't think anything outside of some of the obscure gems were really considered grinding in MHW.

I'm 8 months late. I hope someone replies, I am seeing "not the right conditions" in the weapon tree. But, I'm not sure why. I've already beaten the fire monkey.. so.. not sure why I only have about 3 slots of the weapon tree not a "?"

Of course! A franchise that has more than a decade worth of experience is gonna fall under a game that took inspiration from it. Amazing take moron.
@xXRaffleXx Жыл бұрын
Tbh, the gameplay exceeds monster hunter imo. It's faster and more combo based. MH is a 20+ year franchise that continues to fail to innovate and doesn't even crossplay yet. It should be leaps and bounds better than Wildhearts, yet it's not. I loved MH world despite its shortcomings, and MH rise was an utter disappointment imo.
