You have to remember this show was filmed 2010-2013. California legalized weed in 2016. So during the time of the show weed was illegal that’s why they take it so serious in the show.

Regardless of California law. Marijuana is a class 1 drug on federal property… follow the law and you won’t have any problems ever. If you can’t understand the law or are unsure it’s better to ask and figure it out so you don’t break them.

I had a combo of a ranger and border guard patrol pull this move on me about the same time this was filmed. I had a card and everything, they just robbed me and didn’t even write me a warning. Said they could have given me a $300 fine cause federal land, total bs

I don't smoke the stuff, but am ok with legalization of it. What folks are forgetting to mention is the nutrients these plants literally suck out of the land. Bad for the ecosystem. So go grow, but not on protected land. You can grow thousands of plants in your own backyard.....
