They're so cute! And Dwarfy is extra adorable 😊 I only just noticed the blueish-turquoise hue of these light feathers on their wings, which seem to shimmer in the light, it's so pretty… Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful little moments, it's always such a treat to see you bonding with all these amazing little creatures 💜

When a bird or any other animal turns it's back to you and doesn't keep you in it's sight at all then it means that it feels extremely safe and gives you it's full trust and the lil goobers really trust you

I have no idea how you tell them apart! 😂
@randominternetuser004 ай бұрын
When you spend a lot of time with them you get to see that they have individual "personalities " 😁 wild birds are extremely manipulative when it comes to food in my experience
@CatsAreTheBestPeople-mm1fo4 ай бұрын
@@randominternetuser00 I'm hopeless with names and faces - I'd have to have them all wear name badges for at least the first year. 😂
@randominternetuser004 ай бұрын
@CatsAreTheBestPeople-mm1fo I don't name them for that exact reason 😁 it's the pattern of song in your voice they respond to rather than knowing their name. Imagine being a wild bird that visits multiple homes in the neighbourhood for food. Every person who feeds you will call you by a different name 😄
I never saw these amazing turquoise feathers. Cookaburras are such wonderful birds with their unique head and song. They are so exotic from a French point of view. I would love to see them and wild cockatoos with my own eyes one day.

@BackyardBirdsofAustralia4 ай бұрын
Hey! He will let me pat him (we say pat in Australia 😉) but I don't know if he'd actually like it and I usually let the wild birds initiate any contact. So I'd rather have them fly over to perch on me than have me go up and pat them, if that makes sense. How've you been anyway?

*Someone* (won't say who) looked awkwardly embarrassed about snakes and the catching thereof. Maybe the whole *catch a snake and bash its brains out* shtick is something of a cultural stereotype and *someone* (won't say who) is more genteel - to the extent that even going for sausages is just done for the look of it. 😯
