Wild Life In Panama City - Ep. 94 RAN Sailing

If you love sloths, you will like this episode :) Panama City is a bustling city with a lot of traffic, people and sky scrapers. Despite being in the middle of it we manage to find both archeological sites and a jungle full of animals right in the city center.
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built aluminium Beason 40, untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video because you presented a tourist overview of Panama City which was almost as good as being there without the long walks and sweating in the humidity. Another sailing vlogger who made the passage through the canal did not provide this video tour and it would have been a shame to have missed it this time around. Thanks for another wonderful adventure. I first saw sloths in Costa Rica many years back. Awesome creatures. We were staying at a bird sanctuary on the east coast and the lady there took in sick and wounded sloths and nursed them back so they could go back into the wild. These were so gentle we could hold them.

Glad Johan is feeling better; everything is more difficult in hot weather. I'm trying to walk 2-hrs/day to reduce my hypertension prior to colon cancer surgery. The temp at 4pm, when I started walking both yesterday, was 38C here in Bangkok. I'd rather be sailing but at least I can watch you and many others!!!

He gave me heads up , in case we drive to Panama someday. On the bucket list. Your setup is perfect , 6, 7 knots to travel with gives a view of what the old sailing days were about.
