I know that feeling..... Helicopter rides.... My Pilot was a Vietnam Vet.... He was giving rides for $15 per. Taking 5 ppl per trip at the local Fair.... I spent all the money I had saved from working that Summer with him... I think I went up like 17 times... Last trip was just he and I... He asked what I'd like to do on this last ride.... I was so excited I almost yelled out the question.... I blurted out "Combat Maneuvers...!"... He got this epic grin on his face, and away we went.... Yeah..... darting the animals.... You wouldn't need to ask me twice....!!!

I was just telling my daughter yesterday that if it wasn’t so far to go to South Africa I would love to travel there and my first visit would be to the Sanctuary to see all the lions that I watch every week on your videos and also to get the chance to meet you Kevin! I'm glad Amanda had such a lucky win and got to experience all of that. I will never be able to see your sanctuary in person but I am so glad for what you do to help the precious animals live meaningful, healthy, and worthwhile quality lives. I would have taken some Dramamine and gone along to experience that helicopter tracking and darting process, I think it would have been the best part! At the end of it all, Kevin can say he did something in his life and there are hundreds of thousands of us that would agree.

CONGRATULATIONS AMANDA! I hope this will be the motivation for you to become a professional conservationist. The competitions inspire people to find careers working with wildlife in many different ways, especially to those "boots on the ground" in conservation. Kevin Richardson. I keep going back to the time I volunteered at Welgedacht. I still have the hat. At almost 70 years old now..and owning and maintaining a BnB in Mexico. I console myself with watching your videos. I remember how you told me to give a treat to Bobby,Bob cat. Placed the treat on my palm. Bobby licked it off. His tongue was so delicate.

Congratulations to Amanda, to hear how she came upon your channel was really touching. It helped her with her anxiety and insomnia. How Awesome. I was smiling the whole time watching her. It was very touching to watch her interactions with the rhino. You could just watch her face like you said Kevin, very touching. I am sure she will NEVER forget her experiences with you at your sanctuary Kevin. WHO WOULD FORGET??? that would be Awesome. Seeing Meg would be my wish. But to see her from a baby to full grown, and obviously Amy would of been part of that wish but, I am not going to make myself cry so I am going to think HAPPY THOUGHTS and think of Amanda and her husband's time in South Africa🤗
