They're an accidentally introduced species that could become invasive. Florida (and all of America north of Mexico for that matter) does not have native Simians other than humans: those that migrated 10s of thousands of years ago across Beringia or the Pacific and those that invaded or were enslaved across the Atlantic.

They rescue orphaned babies who then get a foster monkey mom and troop then they're released into the protected "Vervet Forest" areas to live a normal baby monkey life. We can watch weekly updates to see the little guys' progress. It's heartwarming to watch.
