That's the first enclosure. She plans on expanding.

I remember in the 80's in Hollywood, FL there were 100's and 100's of green parrots around 441 and west hollywood near johnson street and blvd heights elementary. Are those still around???

Yes, flocks of parrots still fly around.

They are a relic here and some noobs who don't respect our home will come and take them away one day. They need to be protected. It's crazy they have live so long here and grown such a great family. Impressive.

They're an accidentally introduced species that could become invasive. Florida (and all of America north of Mexico for that matter) does not have native Simians other than humans: those that migrated 10s of thousands of years ago across Beringia or the Pacific and those that invaded or were enslaved across the Atlantic.

Housing them does nothing but makes them this woman's test subjects . Let them be

Why do they need to build anything? They've been around 40 years? Leave them alone.

200 sq ft??? That “enclosure” sounds more like a cage. How is that going to help them? Sounds like a waste of money. Just leave them be. They’ve survived this long w/o this woman’s intervention

I encourage you to see "THE VERVET MONKEY FOUNDATION" in S. Africa. They rescue orphaned babies who then get a foster monkey mom and troop then they're released into the protected "Vervet Forest" areas to live a normal baby monkey life. We can watch weekly updates to see the little guys' progress. It's heartwarming to watch.

better for them to be free, then in the safe prison she wants to put them in

We all die sooner or later. If they were in the everglades it would probably be sooner from either a croc, gator, or python.
