*LYRICS - Wild Mountain Thyme* ------------ O, the summertime is comin' And the trees are sweetly bloomin' And the wild mountain thyme Grows around the bloomin' heather Will you go, lassie, go? And we'll go together To pluck wild mountain thyme All around the bloomin' heather Will you go, lassie, go? I will build my love a bower* Near yon pure crystal fountain And on it I will place All the flowers of the mountain Will you go, lassie, go? And we'll all go together To pluck wild mountain thyme All around the bloomin' heather Will you go, lassie, go? If my true love, she were gone I would surely find another Where the wild mountain thyme Grows around the blooming heather Will you go, lassie, go? And we'll go together To pluck wild mountain thyme All around the bloomin' heather Will you go, lassie, go? Will you go, lassie, go? Will you go, lassie, will you go? * Bower - a leafy shelter like the one behind Emmett at 1:46 Turn on captions (CC) to see the lyrics on screen Album: My Ozark Mountain Home

What I feel: peace and serenity. Today no wind, no background noise, the sound is perfect. Is it real? In front of a dreamy landscape, Katie, always talented, sets the tone under the warm look of Ellen (by the way, as usual, each member of the group turns to the soloist with a knowing and benevolent smile). And then the presentation is judicious: Matt, harmoniously accompanied, has really the voice for this song; Katie and Emmet frame perfectly our vocal trio and finally mother Karen, always in the background, who brings with her touch the indispensable tempo necessary to the whole. One word for this remarkable adaptation: thank you

Hi guys, but are you sure you don't have Irish origins? Every song that comes from those lands you make it incredibly fantastic! Matt's voice is absolutely perfect in this song.
