Fantastic retro footage of an incredible coaster, it will be sorely missed.

This was my favourite ride on the pleasure beach. I got my dad to take me on as a little un & went on again years later. It was scarier second time because I knew about speed more & was thinking "this is too fast for the turn ahead."

Fantastic tribute to the Wild Mouse steel roller coaster ride! (1958-2017)

I'm saddened to know that the Wild Mouse is now gone, however I am looking forward to the new Icon ride. I'm really glad to have ridden Wild Mouse the 1 time I went to the Pleasure Beach, in 2015 when it was 57 years old :-)

This is great offride footage, maybe the best I’ve ever seen. But it’s hard to watch as the feeling of betrayal is still so raw for me.

I can understand your feelings. I just heard about this today (Jan 7, 2018) and it hit me hard. I needed to pay tribute to this wonderful little coaster.

Was one of my favourite rollercoasters period! RIP🐭💔😩. And it's not PB's fault! it's the HSE/ ADIPS/ Insurance etc. If anybody should be getting flack for this it should be them under current legislation that caused this to happen😤 I'm thinking of starting a campaign to change the legislation so other classic historical rides don't meet the same fate. I'm not against health and safety in principle but it's gone way too far and it's starting to affect what makes amusement parks and fairgrounds fun.

You mean ,if it was a metal roller coaster hanging you upside down ,dropping you 200 feet ,ending in a loop at 74 mph, it would be considered safe? madness.

At this point it actually was just BPs fault. The ride had breaks changed to be automatic and had a lot of changes done in 2016 to make it compliant. This was just an out of the blue management decision.
