Aussie World's website is now using your P.O.V Video on their main page :) Great to see the Australian parks taking some notice of you guys and the great work you do!

I’ve been on the one in Blackpool and it was insane. RIP that coaster, it was truly iconic.

the Zig-zag part of wild mouse coaster is always the Scariest looks like youre going to fall.
@xoxoxxi3 жыл бұрын
Yea especially when it starts going fast and it just turns you feel like your going to fall out lmao
@CrazySheazy12511 жыл бұрын
I've been on that, it threw me around in the cart lol. it feels like the cart jumps off the track when going over the hills lol

They don't make wild mouse rides like they used to... New ones feel like kiddie coasters in comparison to these
@b2311e12 жыл бұрын
Reminds me of Blackpool Pleasure Beach's Wild Mouse. Very similar track layout too

Every amusement park nowadays want the fastest tallest record breaking coaster..why? This coaster seems like it is more fun than any of those! Wish we had one like this in LA cali.

Went on this today... so awesome and fast .. when you come on the hill thing after the first dip u literally lift about 15cm out of your seat....Loved it
@Cr4z3d9 жыл бұрын
Lol holy shit, that has to be the fastest lift hill I've ever seen on a coaster, in fact I think the fastest and zippiest coaster I've seen period, even faster than the Blackpool Wooden Wild Mouse.
@Skystarry758 жыл бұрын
+Cr4z3d The coaster itself is pretty small, there's a ferris wheel in the background for comparison. But this one is pretty fast. Aussie World is a pretty good park. I personally like "The Octopus" Which is right next to the wild mouse. You can even see it at 0:43. I used to go to Aussie World all the time as a kid. It was like a permanent fair ground. Ferris wheel, merry-go-round... It was always a lot of fun though.
@Cr4z3d8 жыл бұрын
+Skystarry75 Heh, that's kind of what Knoebels near here is like, a permanent fairground, a big one at that though. Lots of actual old school rides too, in perfect functioning order.
@Cr4z3d8 жыл бұрын
+Skystarry75 You could describe it a bit as kind of like an IRL version of Forest Frontiers in RCT1, if you've played that series.
@Skystarry758 жыл бұрын
Cr4z3d Unfortunately... I haven't played any of the RCT games (Though I do know what they are) But Knoebels sounds fun!
@Cr4z3d8 жыл бұрын
+Skystarry75 You should, great classic simulation series, I'd say mostly stick to the 1st two games though. And Knoebels is, very nice family park basically build through and around a forest, hence why it reminds me of that particular scenario. It's in Elysburg, PA.
@themeparkreview13 жыл бұрын
@rollercoasterfan97 It's identical, yes, but this one seemed to run a bit faster and yeah, more airtime...

They had a wooden one like this one in Playland, Vancouver about 2 decades ago. I rode it many years ago and it’s still one of the scariest rides I’ve ever been on. I’ve ridden so many new roller coasters all over but I seriously thought I would fall over on this one on top. It was 👍 great!!

I say the one at luna park is better (even though it is the exact same ride) because the harbour is right below you when you go around the sharp turns and it feels like your going straight into the harbour

Very similar layout to the former wild mouse at blackpool, just missing the first 2 drops but the rest is the exact same layout

This is one of only two wooden coasters in Australia. The other is in Luna Park Melbourne (Scenic Railway) and it's the second oldest coaster in the world, the oldest continually running coaster in the world.

Definitely need to visit here now ! Honestly miss the wild mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Since the layout is the same and kind of same trains this ride experience shouldn’t be any different! Hope to ride in the near future ! :)

i rode this ride as a kid back in 1974 at Ponchartrain Beach in New Orleans Louisiana. it was called the Wild Maus. this ride was so fast that it actually flew off of the tracks on a couple of occasions. me and my dad rode this ride and a couple days later it was in the local news that one of the cars flew off of the tracks, flew out into the parking lot and landed on top of a pregnant woman who was sitting in her car and killed the riders as well as the woman in the car. the following summer another car flew off of the tracks and killed a pedestrian in the parking lot along with the riders. after that the ride was dismantled and sold. no lies.

I live half an hour away from Aussie World. Fun park, all they really need is a new coaster. Something compact as they have little space to expand, maybe a Gerstlauer eurofighter 320?
@railnut2110 жыл бұрын
At least it doesn't shake and vibrate like Blackpool's does. Blackpool Pleasure beach's wooden wildmouse is a fantastic ride when theres two of you to ride together. If on your own though it makes you feel terrified especially when you feel the entire structure vibrate underneath you

Knoebels SERIOUSLY needs one of these.
@Cr4z3d9 жыл бұрын
+RehenNodrog Haha yes! My thoughts exactly, never thought I'd encounter someone with the same idea :). The only question at this point really though is where would they put it? They've pretty much used all their available space as it is. A Wild Mouse at Knoebels would be awesome though :)
@Sargebri6 жыл бұрын
This reminds me of the Wild Mouse at Ponchartrain Beach in New Orleans. Unfortunately, they removed it for another ride, but it was a great little ride. In fact, whenever the car would hit the turns I actually thought it sounded like a mouse scurrying around.
@BAKU2K27 жыл бұрын
I recently found out that the park removed this coaster to replace it with a newer model, how sad it is for a classic ride to meet its demise soo recently.
@MrFlightdeckfan7 жыл бұрын
I hope it will be relocated, I'm sure it will turn up in Indonesia.

The one in New Orleans scared the HELL out of me when I was 8. Rode with my Godmother and she was yelling the whole time. GREAT MEMORIES for a kid growing up in the 50's.
@gymonx1113 жыл бұрын
wow how many time will they build the same coaster????
@mdteletom12883 жыл бұрын
That has to be the quickest Wild Mouse on record.
@yyosh47623 жыл бұрын
I don't think running it this fast was very good for the track and it may have attributed to it's closure. Luna park Sydney's wild mouse was a sister coaster of this one (both were built at Luna Park and were originally identical). The third of these is still operating in Indonesia.
@tehlegospartanarimcbirdboy73195 жыл бұрын

I am sure that this was the same Wild Mouse ride in the 1970's in a small welsh seaside town called Rhyl - South Wales UK. I remember when I was a kid looking at this ride as we went passed it, always wanted to have ago on it... but I didn't.
