One of the greatest finals performances ever on par with MJ’s game 6 in 98, LeBron’s 2018 game 1, the fact that he was the only one to give the greatest Shaq and Kobe Lakers team a loss with the team he had was incredible

Iverson did have help, sixth man of the year McKie, defensive player of the year Mutombo, and coach of the year Larry Brown. It’s a false narrative that Iverson didn’t have much help.
@courtlam792 жыл бұрын
@@josecarranza7555 He didn't have any help nobody else was putting up significant points. They would just give the ball to AI and stand around. Mutumbo couldn't stop Shaq (which was expected) he needed somebody to share the offensive load and he didn't have anyone. He carried that team and at his size there was only so much he could do against that Lakers squad. If you put another solid scorer with him and they would have won that series.

It would definitely improve later on, especially on GP guidance. Anyway he was already a good defender in 01. Overall it was a horrible game for Kobe which contributed to the 76ers winning ( offensively as well ) and defense wise he was defenitly tired already, that’s OT he fought against a tight ass 76ers brown defense system all game and had to guard Iverson in some occasions.
