Every update comes with 3 new champions plus map changes new visuals on jungle monsters ,baron etc. Not to mention how many new items have been added in the game. Milking players?? This is not a ptw game like raid shadow legends man, it's a moba. Your progression has nothing to do with how much money you spend. As a support main, i play normal -> find good adc eventually -> add as friend -> duoQ -> go ranked Rinse and repeat. My friend list is full of good adcs😂 Sometimes we adopt a third any lane while spamming ranked

We are in a spot where I'd be genuinely happy to not spot a single maphacker in the top 10. Unfortunately the entire game is infested with maphacking (boosters), acc. sharing, wintrading for legend and the list goes on and this is just the issue for the top-end of the ladder. Chipping in on 14:20 about the perspective: for me the game has warped into an only 4fun4 game with casual 4fun content of any kind. Remembering back to LQ where I'd sit in queue for a week to be rank 1, or try to be top 10 in the ladder to give people the best insights how to do things. But that isn't the game any more (at least as of this moment) The only strategy that is really left is how to abuse the matchmaker to your advantage - unless you want to play for personal improvement or general enjoyment of the game. (It's the best title on the market) It is sad, this game is amazing but it could be so much more.

The whole climbing thing has ruined the game Just put 10 players together who deserve to be in the same game together and don’t try to force ppl to be as close to a 50% win rate If you put 10 players on relatively equal skill levels the wins and losses take care of themselves

Riot would never do that because fair matchmaking would keep bad players down. These bad players would quit. That's why the matchmaking puts good players with bad ones, so the good ones carry them and keeping them playing and paying. The matchmaking is designed to keep most players hovering around a 50% winrate, no matter how bad they are.

The only thing i hate about the game, is when u are on a winstreak, the game puts teammates who are 30%winrate with you, and 70% winrate people on the whole enemy team, instead of match make everyone who is on a win streak and make everyone prove themselves, instad of making your bag heavyer, make the path harder, idk if i explain my self, thats why i dont play a lot nowadays, just 1 or 2 times a week with my gf and thats all, i hate playing this game cuz i know if i win 3 or 5 in a row, the next games are unwinnable

As an invested casual I have several issues with the game: 1. Awful marketing for e-sports at the time. 2. Technical issues: I play on relatively good smartphone.. I have 2 buddies that quit cause earlier they could play.. but after heimerdinger patch they have “insta-close” of app like every other game 😢 I have the same issue once in 5-7 games. And consider game “weight” - how they think ppl will play with 20+ more champs and 200 more skins? 3. Gatcha… like, c’mon, I can spend some money on my fav champ… but 90-110$ for a single skin? Rly? When there are like 120 champs? Wt hell?

Riot is biased and double standard. Riot has Mumbai valorant server but doesn't provide an Indian server still. Indian community is one of the biggest. Skins are great since there are a lot they should reduce price for Indian region. Or else they should provide more ways to earn poro coins/ poro energy.. They should introduce daily login Reward for each month. Also some good rewards for long time players like a epic skin for 100 days logged in.. Another high rare skin for 200 days like that.

Aegis is a great change, but it needs to be matched. If you perform bottom %20, lose an extra mark. This directly balances the aegis. Do this and get rid of fortitude; ranked matchmaking will get better. It simply creates incentive for everyone to play better, while removing trash players from high elo and promoting good players from elo hell.

i agree above all else, but your younger brother taste in playing games has nothing to do with wild rift issues in general. ofc they pick up something that is more simplistic and easier to learn. wild rift should not cater to casuals much more than they did right now. didn't you already see how bad it is if they keep this happening? elo inflation is real and it's frustrating for loyal playerbase that genuinely wants to get better at this game. one thing that they should NOT do is to cater to casuals anymore than they do rn.

i think you guys nailed it on every single topic. i definitely agree about the support role being hard to soloq in high elo, but only for certain games... generally i found support to be much easier in higher elo (even in soloq). i found emerald to be the worst rank for supports. once you get past emerald, especially into master the games get easier (if you are good) because your teammates are generally a lot better. obviously if you are challenger and the rest of your team is master vs a challenger jg and the rest master, youre most likely going to get shit on... but if you can set up the plays, at least master players generally know how to do dmg and get a kill. trying to set things up in emerald when no one knows how to burst or use combos, is almost impossible sometimes.

Every time I play this game I glitch out every ~5 game for 3 minutes without being able to log back in, lose games for this even after I outplayed my opponent and accumulated a large gold lead, and then get penalized with an AFK penalty afterwards. It's fun and I would play it again if it the game could just have fewer bugs, I payed a lot for their skins when it was still stable, but now their servers makes it literally unplayable.

The common misconception of players here in my area that plays different MOBAs is that they think that WR is a exact copy of LOL and they dont even bother trying to play WR itself because they find it "Too Complex" but it really isn't even that deep to fully familiarize yourself with the game mechanics. This is just based on my local area here (Philippines) where almost every place is dominated by Mobile Legends

One benefit of having an official tournament is that it creates an icon for the game. For instance, we have Dendi in early dota2 days, Faker in PC, and Tenz in Valorant. I think it's one of the most important in a game. It hypes up the game.

WR is in an unfortunate state of being a competitive game in a casual platform. Its competitors are *thriving more* because they are easier. You can tell your friends or non-gaming significant other to pick a brain dead hero, get into the game ASAP, and just spam abilities. WR doesn't "feel good" immediately and heavily punishes lack of game knowledge. Sad that competitive "hard core" players, specifically in the west, still look down on mobile gaming. The vitriol WR got whenever it got promoted on LoL PC platforms was unbelievable. Regardless, I absolutely agree that it's the best mobile moba out there and the only one that employs actual strategy. When not compared to its competitors, it's doing well and I hope to see it continue to flourish. Love the game.

I personally only play Aram or Hextech Aram, I've completely stopped playing ranked for good until the matchmaking is fixed AND the "new ranked" stuff like the hextech dragon etc, like no one asked for that, also I am sick and tired of having to sweat my ass every round and seeing my team not even try or bother to contribute with anything, at this point purposely trying to lose it feels like.

Great podcast, as a support main I reached one mark off gm and constantly get master which is low elo considering the state of the game. But I can say for this elo as well as gm as I constantly get gms in my games, the reason why Broken's stuff works is also because of the opponents and people that play the game in general. People are mostly stupid in wild rift, or maybe they are not but they refuse to think. They also ego-play. These 2 factors result in people constantly engaging in fights, and constantly focusing and targeting the wrong person. He's very adaptive with the playstyle too, when Galio's Aegis was active he was doing Ingenious Hunter Rune building Redemption, Protector's vow and Zeke every single game where it was possible. This is the proper supporting way of playing and I understand that, but meta changes, galio's aegis was limited time, less and less people play and more bots reach master and gm ranks. He has to be adaptive with what we are dealt. It is only natural. But even then, champs like nami and soraka still heal less than redemption, while tanking nothing. There is a lot of upsides to this that I think you boys are overlooking. I understand players care about a support that can heal, shield or enhance their attack that has almost no playmaking potential, but as a support main I can tell you, you want to climb? Adapt to conditions given, and also the people you with/against. Playing enchanters has been boring and they have been weak for a very long time. Well that's that! We're not getting anything, since if there's no immediate profit, the higher-ups won't give the green light. It's probably why the rank inflation and the horrible matchmaking are intentionally kept to begin with. It's a miracle for me that we got the other casual modes at all.

I actually loved this video and collaboration. I think one of the things that can help the content creating situation is these collaborations, like I didn’t even know that the other content creators aside hells existed, but after this video I went out and looked at their channel and I like their content, I’m sure there are people that didn’t know hells existed until they saw this video on the other 2 channels. I think one of the things that makes wild rift content less active than pc league is these lack of joint videos, like in most league pc channels, if the whole channel is not a cooperation, 1 in every 7 video is with another channel, I may be wrong but thats just my perspective. Even small collaborations like the ones with Broken support, we saw you mention that people loved the videos with broken support, so that definitely helps.

I still enjoy my wild rift campaign. I have noticed. I can be a little hard on my teammates, but I'm competitive, and I want them to improve, and most of all have fun and enjoy the game. I'm only a silver 1. I have 5600 games total. Only about 100 of those are up against other players. Everything else is against bots. I'm still watching the video. I've only ever heard of hells devil. Which devil, has helped me with every champion. I have learned so much from that content creator. It has been a incredible journey for all of us. I love wild rift. I was never able to play PC. And this is the only way that I've been able to play. About the content quality... You guys are awesome. Wonderful personalities, Also you all have been unbelievable sources for data, And finesse, technic, awareness, and game IQ. I want you all to stay and play. The match making is what's killing me. 5-10mins to find a match for bots. I can't stand that. It is really effecting activity, and also correlates to how many games I can play in a row. Now I can barely do 2-3 matches, because of the wait times. When I could do 10-15 games in a row... And it's all because of the matchmaking time to find a match. Pls fix this. Please let them know that NA#1 doesn't have enough people playing bots. Pls fix this.

maybe the real issue is you all along mate, sorry to break it to you. what have you done in all those 5600 matches to only get stuck at silver 1? if you want better queue time, rank up. plat above is so much better in terms of matchmaking time or you could set up to all role and fill out your teammates comp. i mean how can you wish your teammates played better if you are stuck on silver 1 on 5600 games? your teammates are literally bots, what's there to improve rather than yourself?

I just started playing wild rift this week. I'm a refugee from Dota 2. I was playing around the 4.5 5K level MMR. I was a standin mid on a 6 to 7K semi-Pro team. I quit the game to focus on other things. Tried to come back my account was banned because it got hacked. Steam wouldn't unban it, tried to make a new account and the whole social credit score system in DOTA and a bunch of other stuff that goes on in the matchmaking that I won't really go into kind of ruined the experience. I've missed playing mobas. I barely ever played league. I've been traveling a lot for family and saw that wild rift was a thing and I've fallen in love with mobas again. It's a great game. Obviously nomadic traveling gamer is a small niche. I don't think people who are disenfranchised with DOTA 2 is though seems to be a relatively larger niche. I feel like wild rift could really get in there. I see posts on the Reddit quite frequently and people coming over from Dota 2. I think some content with that in mind is an untapped market that could work for inadvertent advertising for the game.

The wild rift dev team is making everything wrong, game is literaly hell to play. And the devs just don't care cuz the only thing that they see in this game is a cash cow. As for the thing royal said in the begining, disagre completely, the real problem is it isn't close enough to league pc, wild rift won't get better by being diferent from lol pc, its actually a getting a lot lot worse cuz they trying to distantiate it from the original, and is not working, it Will not work. Literaly the only fun things that came to this game are from league pc, itens, reworks, champions, mechanics. When this game devs try to inovate on things we get shit like revenous hidra and titanic hidra, and balance changes that don't make sense and only benefity champions that are already meta. This and and the stale ass patchs they be making, they buff some itens and call then "new itens" and no one wants this shit people want diferent itens with diferent efects and itens from pc that didn't came yet. This recommendation will help the problem "long matches" in low elo. But don't apply this on competitive scene. 9th - Don't make the game braindead, too ez to play but don't make it hard to play too. This recommendation will make stay players and gain new players also. 8th - Optimized the game to midrange device because as on a state of this game now, This laggy also on a midrange device even u have high internet speed. U can't make this game for high end device only because it willl reduce players. 10th - Always use an appealing and alive theme for your game design. I don’t think Wild Rift is dead - it still averages around 15 million players per month. However, the content feels underwhelming compared to the PC version. On PC, you have tournaments, esports, and community-based events, whereas Wild Rift has no comparable events or ways for the community to connect with Riot directly. The game’s updates bring good content, usually with a couple of solo-focused events, but there’s nothing on a larger, community-wide scale. There's also no real way to collaborate with Riot or participate in any sort of community-driven activity, let alone be supported financially. Esports for Wild Rift would be a huge gain, especially considering mobile gaming has a bigger player base than PC. League of Legends PC has been out since 2009, so patience is kind of built into the franchise - maybe something will come down the line. I just hope we’ll see more community-focused features within my lifetime. For content creators, a smart move might be to start with Wild Rift and then transition to PC. Wild Rift does a lot of things better than PC - the mechanics, optimization, skins, and even the renders are fantastic. But at the end of the day, it’s still a mobile game, so I’m unsure how much Riot will invest in it for the long term. If we don’t see any improvements by next year, I’ll probably just play casually whenever a champion I like, like Viktor, releases (maybe he’ll finally come with Arcane Season 2!). In terms of community, though, I think the PC version still has the edge.

here are my unsolicited advice to RIOT for wildrift: 1. if server have a low number of players and you really need to deploy bots, at least adjust your bots. Imagine playing soloQ on gold, against 5 ai enemy with t1 level of movement and sync + hidden damage/stats buff (you think people wouldn't notice, but we do) your bots play good enough, it does objectives and sync in movements, at the very least, don't give it a buff. Again, putting super bots just makes the remaining players be upset of this game and just not recommend it to anyone else. 2. RUN ads. You came into mobile gaming scene YEARS LATE. Some mobile users doesn't even know you EXIST. Your game is the best in gameplay,everything aesthetic and controls, you can be showing it off. Your game isn't the problem, it is whoever makes you do decisions without considering what players need. 3. Invest in tournaments, it's an event to look Forward to, and an advertisement of your game. And I know you want to profit with your game, but putting price on everything is just isn't doing it, at least not right now. You used to have free hextech keys and chest that players can obtain, now there isn't. And for a server with very low players and full of AIs, why would we buy an expensive skin? Only me, a few players on my team, and the bots, are the ones who's going to see it anyway. There's probably a lot more to say about the problem of your strategy, but right now. Players are just getting tired of your Bots. This is the only game I had my account deleted just to not play the game. Me and my squad keeps going back to mobile legends and other games even though league was our favorite, for one and only one reason. It's frustrating to fight bots, regardless if it's a win, and especially if it's a loss. If you don't listen to players, wildrift will end. and when faker retires, league will end. Your game that could save your company's longevity is hanging on a cliff.

For me, wild rift was region locked ... Had to use a VPN and basically lag the whole match due to being forced to use distant servers. Wild rift is the only one with this issue. All the other Moba's from onmyoji arena, Hok, ML, Aov and even Pokémon Unite don't have this issue.

The bug the host about only seeing yellow ward is what I saw too, but the wards are hidden behind the drop-down arrow next to yellow ward, I found out the other wards show up after I click on the arrow. Hope that helps

My opinion. Honor of Kings was suppose to be Wild Rift, but God dammitt Riot didn't want a mobile LoL. I remember when Wild Rift came out, I quit MLBB for that game because I was an LoL fan, didn't have a PC, and was able to play it on my potato phone. Since their previous patches, I'm literally unable to play the game on my potato phone. Riot made it to the point where its playable on tablets or some expensive as phone. Riots pushing it to be on PC which doing so makes no sense because there already is a PC game. So I went back to MLBB and then when Honor of Kings came out, I quit MLBB for that game since its the closest to LoL and have been playing HoK to this day. However, I would quit HoK any day if I was able to play Wild Rift on my potato phone.

you can play league pc with 8 gigs of ram with 60 - 80 fps atm, i can probably say you will be settled with wild rift for the same specification on a phone. sadly wild rift would be heavier in the future with a lot of updates. which is what are going to be for all games rn. technology is always evolving, you can't expect massive tech requirement downgrade for game industries that always evolving.

As a Product Manager, I can tell you that rank inflation is deliberate and for a good reason. Mobile players are usually casual players and majority of the player base is casual. If you don’t give these casual players a win (dopamine hit) then they lose interest really fast. In order to keep engagement KPIs high, these dubious but effective tactics are used. Otherwise, the game will lose player base really fast. You also want to give them a sense of achievement/reward for playing more hence fortitude points. This explains 50% win rate too, people will lose interest if they keep losing. Unfortunately, the AI sucks too so real and good players get the end of the stick. In poker games, they just have bots that are programmed to lose and make you win. All games, social media platforms use slot machine tactics. The goal is always to create engagement loops and make users lose track of time.

I think one way to make Wild Rift more enjoyable is having more diverse build options. For example PC Katarina can build AD or AP because of her Ult changes. Wild Rift Katarina can really only build AP. You have to have an optimal build and runes, or you won't win most of the time. Then there's all the cheating... 🙄

Each rank is tier is different as far as what style is optimal. Gold and below you need a 1v9 mentality Platinum and Emerald you need luck to get thru it unless you’re so good you can still 1v9 Diamond and up, you just need to do your job to the highest level possible

Wild Rift is the best quality moba out there, I don't think anybody can disagree on that. Best graphics, best champs, etc. However... For me matchmaking, lack of any genuine reporting tool, greed of Riot killed the game. It's even more sad, as the game is genuinely good. If there was another game that was even close to being as good I would have jumped ship a long time ago. It's super frustrating to play at times and Riot does not prioritise the players but financial gains

I've been thinking for awhile about how I could create Wild Rift content on the same themes of the Broken by Concept podcast. I feel like that is a niche that isn't being filled currently and is super important as player's mental health can be so impacted by this game. I am also a consistently Emerald/Low-diamond player, so I have struggled with having the self-respect to believe I can help other people when I don't usually get into higher ranked tiers despite playing a lot and playing intentionally.

Many reasons ppl were pissed because they kept delaying the voice chat fix, matchmaking is horrible, they mentioned a console version and it never happened, the devs ignores suggestions and criticism and whenever they fucked up they blame it on the playerbase and gives no apologies, and lastly league players are extremely toxic theyre always insults and argueing i quit because i got afks 9 rank games in a row
