He could be a #1 for some teams or #2 for most teams if that's what he wanted. He's skilled offensively and has a surprising amount of hops when he actually gets up. He's stated before though that he just wants to play team ball and not hero ball.

As a New Zealander, it's heartwarming to hear that Steven Adams is such a great teammate and makes the people around him feel so good. He's a down to earth human being. He was at a small provincial airport here at home not so long ago. He had lunch, then took his rubbish to the bin, went and thanked the staff for the feed. Lovely guy.

I loooooove Steven Adams. I remember when OKC drafted him I was so confused, but then I saw how tough he was and even as a rookie he wouldn't back down from anyone! He's such an unique player and character and I've always heard nothing but great things about him as a person. Got players a lot of open looks/dunks by boxing out. Led the league in OREB. JJJ and Adams was probably the best defensive PF/C combo this year.

As an Aussie, Steven Adams embodies the best of sport - plays hard but rarely, if ever, crosses the line, has that warrior mentality but embodies sportsmanship, no BS and seems like the type to have a beer with the opposition after the match regardless of the result. JRE tend to not have many athletes on outside of MMA or boxing but Adams favourite things outside of basketball are literally hunting, fishing and MMA so I think he would actually be a great guest, he is also good friends with Israel Adesanya as well so having them both on at the same time would be a great pod!

Never did I think Steven Adams would turn out to be as important as he is in today’s NBA the toughest man in the NBA in my opinion is Jimmy Butler, and he’s on the record saying, Steven Adams sets some of the hardest screens he’s ever had to run through bt for a guy who’s never been an All Star which is a little surprising by the way u could make the argument tht he’s one of the most important players on your roster and makes your team better I’ve been following his career since his Pitt days and he’s better now then he’s ever been I just wanna see him stay healthy cause he’s key to a lot and a slight difference between winning and losing without having to do much

Every single time I've heard someone talk about Steven Adams, they all say the same thing. He's incredibly strong, and powerful. He's a genuinely nice guy off the court, and he's highly intelligent. No one has a bad word to say about him, other than they wish they weren't on the receiving end of some of his screens :) All of his team mates, past and present all seem to love the guy, and for a league stacked that many big personalities, for everyone to like and respect you says a lot about you.

As a yank that came to live in New Zealand in 1973 it cracks me up you noticing Steve doing the flio flops in winter. Friday nights downtown in the middle of winter in NZ, kiwis all walkin' 'round in the short shorts (called stubbies) with jandals (flip flops) and a big woolen Swanndri hunters shirt on top and definitely no hats.
