Sam Elliot never fails to deliver,and this movie is no exception.His superb acting style lends so much to that era of cowboys,Indians,wild west towns, ranching and the life of people way back in that extraordinary time.These roles suit him like a hand to glove.Highly entertaining movie with a great cast also starring the likes of Ben Johnson who is a regular in westerns.Thanks for screening.❤

I must say I've often not been a fan of TV series that drag themselves out to make a story that should be a two hour Movie into a 20 hour "Epic Mini Series" LOL. But in this case it has so much going for it in that it is a Western. It stars the AWESOME Sam Elliot and oh man that real instrument, real orchestra with a KILLER HORN SECTION which is very rare indeed to hear and enjoy as the movie stretches itself out for far too long to make up for the time required LOL. I just have to enjoy this piece of fine TV Movie Art work!! Thank you guys! "Those were the days" truly!!

I absolutely loved this 2 part movie❤ Sam Elliot has always been my Favorite Actor along with John Wayne! They can’t be beat, in my opinion, by anyone else. WE NEED more movie’s like this in today’s world. Not the TRASH they put out today and have been for a few decades!! Thank you so much for sharing this movie. I’m sure it was appreciated by many. 💕🙏🙏

Part 2 is the strength of this miniseries because the supporting characters are stronger here and really get to shine.

🎥 99.9% of the Movies, always end where the desirable story begins. Why do they only write the Drama, can't Wtiters write good stories about the "ever after"? Less Drama and way more Happiness, Sharing, and Living the Desires, thats what I desire for entertainment. Write me some Happy Experiences ...

Dennis Hopper is by far the worst Doc Holiday in T.V. series or movie history. Val Kilmer is your Huckleberry!
@jackvoss58417 ай бұрын
There’s a high probability that no one has ever played the role of Doc Holiday accurately. He wasn’t of high character, or of much honesty, nor of much skill other than gambling and shooting. He wasn’t the kind if guy that a Dad cites to his Son, “Now - THERE is a man to be like. A man to admire.” If Doc Holiday was portrayed accurately, his only admirers would be other crooks. Not really something to write home about. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

@@jackvoss5841 What the hell does that have to do with acting ability? Val Kilmer's dialect was spot on not only in diction but in the accent of the day. We know the story is full of ficition and we are well aware of Holiday's character. However, there are historical records to back up some of Holiday's less abominable traits. He was fiercely loyal to his friends. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the age of 20 from the Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery. He previously to that had attended the Valdosta Institute and received a classical education in rhetoric, grammar, mathmatics, history and languages - principally Latin, some French and Ancient Greek. He came from a prominent family. His father was the mayor of Valdosta, Georgia. Lets just say Holiday was a very complex individual. Far more than the vagant, murderous, third rate, contemptable sub-human you and who ever the hell Half Assed Flying is trying to make him out to be. Hunter Biden might be more the type your referring to. Only he can't shoot or gamble worth a damn and he sure as shit can't paint or act.

As a 55 yr old who grew up as a fan of cowboy movies, It's hard for me to wrap my head around how Sam Elliott could support Kamala Harris. How could an actor who made a career (millions) from petraying characters that relied on firearms and freedom support her? Knowing she wants to go after our 1st and 2nd amendment rights not to mention her outstanding job of allowing illegals to flood this country. While I do believe every American citizen has a right to choose who they support politically, it just seems hypocritical. In other words, it would be like John Wayne supporting Jimmy Carter.

That was a terrible Doc Holliday
@michaelfox24336 ай бұрын
If its half as bad and historically inaccurate as the portrayal of Hickock in part 1, I may not survive the cringe of it. Otherwise a fun film with a lighthearted yet still classic western tone overall.

Yep, fully agree... Dennis Hopper is...was a great actor but he'd have been better off letting this Doc's portrayal go on Holiday....👍👍👍👍👍
