Creek Ninjas fishing

Creek Ninjas fishing

Todays creek Ninjas adventure takes us to the Tennessee side of the great smoky mountain national park, to fish a river I haven’t been on in years that is absolutely loaded with wild rainbow and brown trout. This video is more just to show some of the awesome scenery around the Park and some of the awesome trout that live there, for those that’ve never been to the smoky mountain park, it’s highly recommend! Fishing inside the park is a true test of stealth and patience. These fish are insanely spooky eat lightning fast and are some of the pickiest fish around, that combined with the rough terrain of the park and the water makes it a challenge, but a fun one! Don’t forget to like and subscribe if you like what you see!

Good fishing and footage of Little River. You cracked me up with almost every fish being described as "...a little wild..." rainbow, or "...a little wild..." brown, the phrase that never quits! And the mechanical counter, oh my various and sundry gods, and the score keeping! Too funny, just friggin' relax, there, hero! Yikes!

@creekninjasfishing9036 Жыл бұрын
Ben broke his T&T from smacking it with a bead getting a fly out of a tree beads and split shot hitting rod tips usually don’t end well for any rod, and I fish a 6-4lb leader with 4x sighter pretty much everywhere all the time!

@@creekninjasfishing9036 thanks, what brand leader do you use that’s stretching? Are you running nylon or mono? Try nylon it has less stretch ..
@creekninjasfishing9036
@creekninjasfishing9036 Жыл бұрын
I use maxima, I tend to lean towards having stretch which is why I fish such a thin leader, I fish a lot of 7-9x tippet and the stretch of the leader acts as a shock absorber to protect from break offs
@creekninjasfishing9036
@creekninjasfishing9036 Жыл бұрын
Any leader that small is going to stretch unless you were using flouro or something but having a super thin leader adding that stretch is perfect for the style I typically fish, and it helps a lot when fighting bigger trout in the 3-10 pound range on light tippet

@@creekninjasfishing9036 Cool, is that also sometimes referred to as a Frenchie?
@creekninjasfishing9036

It’s slightly different, a frenchie is a pheasant tail with a bright dubbing collar, a France fly uses stretch tubing for the body and often a natural grey or tan dubbing collar

About equal. Live in Tennessee, fished both sides many many times. Really depends on the river. As far as wild trout, especially brooks, I would say the Tennessee side is more populated. Not to mention there's far more places to fish on the Tennessee side than there is North Carolina.

Cool video but you should handle trout with a towel they are very fragile. The ones you release are probably going to die. According to the experts. Or at least take them home and eat them.
@colegrosshans2582
@colegrosshans2582 Ай бұрын
NO!!! The towel will strip their protective coating way more than your hand. If you wet your hands before handling and have them out of the water as short as possible they are just fine. proper handling (without a towel) is key to fish survival

@@stevegregg5354 furthermore. I don’t make money off of KZbin because my channel isn’t monetized.
