If you've already got Haaland, keep him. Sure, you could temporarily swap him for Salah this week and then wildcard, but you'll ultimately waste transfers and risk being caught by another price rise. Besides, if anyone can get through Arsenal's defence, it's Haaland!

Yep, I learnt last season never bench Arsenal defence. Sticking with Gabriel did very well for me last week

@@feathers796 and the year before they put 4 past Arsenal. U can't just expect to have the same result as the year before. Haaland looks like he's on a mission to destroy as many teams as possible. I would never bet against him scoring any GW this season

I did in Gameweek 4 and got all 4 as well, got Vardy and Jaoa Pedro with Haaland upfront and Mc Niel with the midfielders and my defenders are Digne, Mazrarioui, Robinson, Keane and A Southampton defender.

@@sothisremindsmeof.....1179 lol forward three is same, in midfield i have gone for amad, may be coz I am a UTD fan, I expect him to provide more returns, Winks is the bench warmer, my defence is Porro, Robinson, Colwil, Johnson and Faes, looking to replace Johnson as he is not starting, want to go for Keane but Everton just dont keep a clean sheet, 3 Free transfers so may be will hold them in case some other option emerges

@@sanjaydhirwan791 Oh I forgot to mention, I sold Rogers for Amad so got him too! Had Johnson too but sold for Bednarek since Southampton have Ipswich and some good games coming, just needed a 4.0 defender with good fixtures. Yeah Everton hasn't kept a cleansheet but Keane has two assists already this season, one from last two weeks and then midweek in the EFL. I am benching him for Bednarek this weekend though because I expect Vardy to score again

Sancho isn't nailed on and he obviously won't be able to play against Man U in GW10. Then again, there aren't really any outstanding midfielders in the £6.0-6.5m range

Too early to say. I‘ve brought him in for my WC in GW4… he should be nailed as a starter but long term Mateta could steal the show from him as he‘s does from Eze. Watched him vs Leicester, I like his game involvement as he roams a lot, although he‘s dropping deep into midfield, but let‘s see… Definitely a hold, wouldn‘t necessarily bother buying him for GW5, except you want to go fully differential and aggressive for some reason.

I have a similar wildcard draft prepared probably for gw6, it’s Raya in goal, Trent, Porro + 3 4.0 defenders, Bowen, Saka, Gibbs White, Garnacho (hopefully he starts this week so I can get him in for gw6) and Mbeumo, upfront a 4.5 attacker, Watkins and Haaland. If I have 5 starting midfielders I won’t be playing the 3rd attacker nor invest more than I should into him. It’s a risk with the injuries that might happen but i deffo prefer my team.
