I was at the one republic concert in Arkansas and I absolutely fell in love with your music and voice....soulful...heartfelt and TRULY singing and meaning your music. I am also one of God's soldiers and your music...since that night...the voice in my stillness tells me to go the christian/bluegrass/country route...17 months ago...I hated myself and I wasn't living...I gave up...my mama passed away three years ago and she was my everything..I got up to 420lbs and I couldn't tell you whether I just didn't care or I was secret wanting to just be with my mama again but the opportunity two years prior to my mamas passing I prayed for help with my weight. I've been big since 7...a year after her passing, insurance started covering the weight loss surgery..I had to make money and God provided my me selling CDs locally as a fund raiser the getting a job where I had a chair when I needed to sit ..not gonna lie..it was a struggle..I had to accommodate for things a "normal" person don't even have concerns about...everyday things...anyways 5,000.00 later I get the weight loss surgery..first EVER surgery..scared to death...I woke up to pecking..I was in the 5th floor and I look and there was a male and female cardinal at the window and the female was frantically peckin at the window lol 😂 I knew I had to be mama...she always makes her presence known especially in important times... April 21 2021 was my surgery date. I'm 150lbs now and it's a real eye opener being on the opposite side of the spectrum and seeing how different you get treated or looked at ...but that also weeded out the people who wasn't meant to be your roots I suppose. I rode my first roller coaster, I hike, constantly on the go and I'm actually LIVING instead of existing...these past several months has changed me not only physically but spiritually and mentally as well..I've always walked with God...sometimes in front, sometimes behind but I'm finally walking beside the one person who has always loved me for my heart and soul rather than my looks. And I finally know what it feels like to truly love myself now. Some stay in the darkness because it hides them from reality. And being that I have now experienced BOTH....the light is soooo much warmer.

I was at the Detroit NTB show last night (my 3rd one) and then searched for more songs by you because of how good your voice is. It is truly the best voice I have ever heard! The band is great too. Very talented. But I just can't get over how you can sing so many songs in a row and still keep a strong voice like that. Glad to see you are making your own music as well. I plan to come to all the future shows! That voice is truly a gift from God!
