Quick note on the “potency” explanation. It is NOT just damage added to mystics infusions attacks. While mystics do use it as a primary stat for damage for their infusion abilities, every other class uses it for calculations in the success of their abilities. It effects the warriors taunt, fear and bloodlust abilities AND effects rangers poison, double shot and stun abilities. It’s an ability modifier and super important to all classes.

Thanks for this excellent explanation! I was roughly aware of the situation but I felt like for a Beginner's Tutorial it's not a bad idea to emphasize the most obvious and direct use of the stat. Cause without the corresponding skills, Potency won't help your other classes. Doesn't make your point less valid, just wanted to say thanks and leave some thought process here. Cheers!

Well, compared to Tainted Grail Wildermyth features a way less grim environment and the joy of positioning as a challenging element. Also I enjoy the teamplay component a lot.

would you recommend tainted grail? I just got Gordian Quest, but it's still in early access. similar style of game though, in that it uses cards.

Can you change the starting characters yourself? I know you can change their appearance and that kind of thing, but I'm wondering can you change the "romantic poet" and stuff like that for each one? I'd really like to make my own 3 characters with traits I want them to have. I bought the game, but not started it yet.

From my experience, you can't, but u can randomize them until you get a title you like and then custom edit their appearance

Belated, but yes, you can. Under the Stats tab you will see personality, tap it and you can scroll down to change which traits are most prominent in the character.

if I want elementalist on my mage and don't get the option, would I have to restart until I get it? I have a pretty good idea that I want to make myself as a mage and I want to be an elementalist. so if I don't get it can I reload a save and try again or something?

great video i have a slight problem with my infuser, he is carryiong a 2H basic staff, i got an off-hand drop which boosts potency but I cant equip it due to the 2h staff, been trying to unequip the staff but I cant find a way! any thoughts?

I think it's because you can't wear an off-hand without a 1-handed main hand weapon. So basically once you get a 1-handed wand on top of it, it should work. I hope this helps!

Quick Question: When rolling a character, are all the stats in the stat list and hook list just for story purpose? Also i always clear out tile by investigation and build on it, would you say that right thing to do or should i burn it and then build? Ty for great video.

Is LP like some sort of cheat or something? Like I just having the ability to reduce the number of enemy spawns seems kinda broken? How is that part of the story?

Well, the harder the game goes (the longer a session), the more of these dangers allocate wether you want it or not. Also LP can be used to buy gear too. So if you decide to push back the dangers too heavily you might run out of specific gear to beat the actual Bosses of the story. How is it part of the Story? That's a question I can't answer well :D

Am in last chapter of my first campaign and notice that many of my characters are getting close to their retirement ages. Not sure what he implications of that are for future campaigns and legacy

Characters will retire at the end of the campaign.

When you start a new campaign and recruit a "legacy character" their age is reset, their abilities and SOME gear are not. The gear is scaled down to the point in the current campaign. That is what I got anyway.

@@101wizardER yes, I am beginning to understand how it works. I got a legacy character today, but her weapon was scaled back to tier 1 and could only choose one skill. Also two of my characters had a child during a peace period who is now on the roster too. The peace periods seem like an odd mechanic, since they just act to make all your party older, so it hardly seems sensible to push for long periods of peace.

@@roqsteady5290 I agree with you there on the last part. The one upside is mountains of resources that you can upgrade your characters with. I believe hook events and certain skills increase the retirement age. There are some mods too that add more events that do just that too. I'm still early in my playtime so I can't really form a "do I hate this mechanic or like it" opinion just yet but it has incentivized me to use my time more wisely; Also to use delay recruiting some legacy characters. Time in itself is a resource in this game. Just my thoughts though

Can someone tell me how to lock the relationship? "Relationships can be locked, so if you bring them back as Legacy Heroes they will keep their relationships. " It says so on wiki, but I did not find how to lock it. Thanks~

You go into relationships. Click on the relationship you want locked. Top left there'll be a lock. Click

Belated, but its under the Relationships tab. You select the relationship you want to lock and lock it. As far as I know, it only works for rivalries and romance relationships.
